Stayed here once years ago and finally made it back. It is away from town, thats a good thing for me. If I want duval st., I can go, when the tourist area wears thin, we can go to quieter and slow vacation pace at the resort.Huge Atlantic views from every where, best from infinity pool and balcony. There is a huge walk/bike path following the sea, across the street. Great property with room to roam, without being stuffy. Brian at the front desk took care of checkin/room concerns I had, and we all had a great time. You will get an awesome suite with marble bath, and a smaller second bedroom with full size bed, typical of condos. Its okay since no reason to be in, when you have beach, pool, balcony, hot tub, florida sunshine, Duval st. etc.
Hyatt windward Pointe has positives and negatives. Positives. ...lovely well groomed grounds, nice looking pool, nice in room kitchen and low cost shuttle service.
Negitives......housekeeping workers that speak & understand very little english. Hotel staff that I felt made little effort to address my concerns. The second bedroom was extremely small. I don't feel two adults in that tiny room could be comfortable.
I will not return to this property.

The proximity to Smather's beach was great, we walked there every day, and really giving this long of a review is boring. It's just a great clean new hotel.
Great staff, beautiful grounds. Had lunch at Abbey Road, their on site café. Good food. The resort is a far from Duval St, and the main action of Key West, but with shuttles to and from the Hyatt Hotel is was ok to not have a car. Our two bedroom room was clean and nice. We walked to and from the airport (it's not a big airport), a short, easy walk. Saved on cab fare that way. Lynn the concierge was very helpful with everything. Brian and Hanna at the front desk are also very helpful staff members. The in room washer & dryer really help keep down the amount we have to pack. Would stay again. As always, I am very happy being an owner with Hyatt Residence (Vacation) Club. We own at Pinion Pointe in Sedona, Arizona.
