“A Must Go To Spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Luckily social media has caught onto this place and I had already decided it would be a first day stop on our trip to Key West. Our concierge had never heard of Paseo (but does now - I made sure of that!). It is a small place with limited seating and some of the best food you'll find on the Island. GO!

“Life-Altering Seared-Scallop Sandwich”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

I know...Scallops?! On a sandwich?! Dude. Seriously. I was blown away. These scallops were seared and spicy (you can get them on a scale of 1-5 and chose 5, which was delicious and not at all over-powering). The sandwich was bursting with giant scallops and huge, wide slices of grilled onion. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Crazy good.

The place was a little hole in the wall and not much to look at, so don't go expecting a waiter with tails and a top hat. Do bring your appetite, as the sandwiches are big and the grilled corn...well, my guess is that other reviews have covered the awesomeness that is their special approach to grilled corn.

“Caribbean food Key West Must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

After visiting the Paseo Restaurant, my significant other and I can see (actually tasted) why this was rated #1 on Tripadvisor. Action not words. Enough said.

“What a gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

Paseo's is a gem and a must for visitors to Key West - the rating of #1 in the Trip Advisor listing is earned. Easy 15 minute walk from our hotel and well worth the small inconvenience of eating on a bench. We ordered the #8 - an updated version of a cuban sandwich. One sandwhich was more than enough for 2 of us -- great value -- as it was huge and stuffed full. Roasted corn was good, but my preference would be for less seasoning. I was hoping to eat here again prior to leaving, but I believe they are closed on Mondays.

“Excellent food, great value, local treasure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

#2 pork sandwich and fresh catch mahi mahi sandwich were both fantastic. Definitely get the grilled corn with aioli and parmesan. I've never had anything like it and it was devine. Seating is tough. We did grab a shaded table just as the food came out and then shared with others too. Roosters outside were cute and thankfully not aggressive. Tried ironbeer--a spicy cream soda.
