We especially enjoyed the large, lovely rooms. Perfect for families. We really liked the location as we did a lot beyond Key West. We were handy to the Hurricane Hole Marina (walking distance) on Stock Island as well (good dockside restaurant and fishing charters). The location is generally quiet, being at the opposite end of Key West from all the commotion. My only complaint is that the sliding glass door and bedroom windows offered absolutely no sound insulation. We heard every noise from the pool area and all the people on their porches. Many other guests let their kids run around with no supervision all day and they were quite loud. A pool attendant would be a great addition. I think seeing staff in the area would cut down on the kids playing with the beach enclosures and handicapped lift. It would also have been nice if the "quiet hours" rules were enforced.

Room Tip: Buildings A and F are closest to the ocean.

We flipped some time share and were so pleased that we were on the opposite end of the island of the downtown/Mallory Square area. Front Desk staff was very polite and checked us in quickly. We had forgotten our cell phone charger and they were able to find us one for the stay. They were very accommodating and urged us to call if we needed anything. Some past reviewers commented on there being no restaurant on site but being a time share, we were used to having breakfast and lunch in the unit (if we were on site and not out and about) and going out in the evening. There is a Publix and WinnDixie a mile up the road.
There is a small beach but it is a wonderful place to sit with a drink in the adirondak chairs and watch the sail boats . Could swim right there . A great dock if you want to rent a boat. Our room was B11 which is on the elevated first floor and didn't look promising but it was great. Very easy to get to and from the pool/dock/beach area. Nice very large screened in balcony with ceiling fans.
We were warned not to go to Smathers beach which is only a mile or so away (and has free parking!!) because of spring breakers but we were there in the morning and till about 2pm- too early for them as there was lots of room and hardly anybody on the beach. Sand very nice and smoth bottoms. Higgs beach was also great and also had a restaurant for a lunchtime snack.
We were able to easily access the Old Town area from the hotel by car and although parking down there is a challenge, we found it manageable .
Great everything and we plan to ask to go back next year for another week.

Room Tip: The top and end units would give you a view of the ocean and would be great but we think any unit wo...

Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay in the Keys for a family. Beautiful wade in pool. Not crowded. It was helpful to have a car. Nice little restaurant at Hurricane Hole marina just across the bridge in walking distance. Nicely equipped kitchen and grills in the beach area. Overall, a perfect week in the perfect location.

I was a returning visitor with my family after 3 years. The tiki bar overlooking the ocean that is near the pool was a great addition! Friendly staff and great mojitos with fresh fruit! The pool was also very relaxing and not overly crowded even during a holiday week. Staff throughout the facility were very friendly and helpful.

Nice property. The unit we stayed in was clean, pretty well furnished, and did not look too old. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the bathroom was huge. The porches are wonderful. The pool is big and the little manmade beach is quite nice with the large comfy lounge chairs. There were a lot of screaming kids by the pool which could easily be heard in the room so the days were not quiet. One drawback was the cleaning was not the best, left the dirty towels on the floor, etc. Since this is a timeshare it wasn't too huge of an issue. This is definitely a family place and way off the beaten path of Duval street. If you are looking to stay in the action of Old Town, do not stay here, the shuttles were fine but inconvenient. Also, the lawn mower and leaf blower at 6-7am...not the best timing.

We visited in February to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. We loved the style of the hotel, the friendly and knowledgeable concierges (they dance pretty well too!). We are owners at Windward Point but have never stayed at the Beach House.

Loved Jimmy at the tiki bar and appreciated the owner's breakfast and the margarita party. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped and the screened in porch was a delight. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this through interval exchange, here's the +/-, family of 5 with teenagers

Pro's
Clean, well kept, grounds are spotless
The staff was friendly and super responsive. Requests for more towels, etc...were responded to in minutes.
Pool area was not crowded, we were able to get 5 chairs toether any time of day
screened in porch was best part of room set up
Tiki bar prices are very reasonable

Cons:
location - you will have to drive to eat, shop - do anything
No fitness center. You have acces to the Hyatt resort (a 15 minute drive) but have to pay for parking there so. This seems like an easy fix
Tiki bar has no food, extremely limited drink menu
The small manmade beach on the resort is dominated by trees so the water view is limited

Room Tip: Get 2nd or 3rd floor
