This was just a fantastic place to stay. We spent two nights here and loved the whole experience. It was in a lovely, quiet courtyard position set back from the street but just around the corner from Duval Street. We were made to feel very welcome and our room was lovely - a king bed suite on the upper floor with ensuite shower room. The courtyard garden is so pretty, with a covered corner area for a lovely continental breakfast and an evening happy hour (two hours) where we were given a hot saucepan of chilli with vegetable chips on the side and other nibbles (it was chilly our first night!) and red or white wine. We met other fellow travellers and the breakfast and happy hour facilities are provided free! The rooms contained everything you could want: coffee making facilities, two bottles of water and a packet of biscuits (provided), towelling robes and great shampoo, lotions, etc. We were very impressed indeed and certainly plan to go back. If we had to find a small gripe, it would only be that the shower was rather lacking in power and probably needs to be replaced in the upcoming refurbishment. This was a reasonably expensive B & B, but we felt we had excellent value for money and the staff were lovely too.

This hotel is very nice and clean, that much is true, but the scam afterwards is the problem. Had a great stay but it was about $800 for two nights. Problem occurred when we got home. A big charge appeared on our card with no explanation. When I called to question it the person on the phone accused us of stealing a rug. We were in Key West with our car parked in their lot for most of the day after we checked out and no one ever raised any issue with us, they simply put a whopping charge on our bill later. Repeated calls to reach the manager about the dispute went unheeded. At least 5 calls were answered by a human, I left my number, but no call back, EVER. I finally submittied it to the fraud department of my credit card company which removed the item. Why would anyone steal a rug? I am not even sure if there was a rug in the room. Why wouldn't they call me back? Rather than try to sneak a charge onto the city slickers card, they should have just reported it to the police. It ended up being a thoroughly disgusting hotel experience and we will NOT be back.

Here are some highlights -
PROS -
Check in was quick and easy!
Very friendly and approachable staff. We were so impressed how Alex always remembered and used our names. A small thing that makes you feel special and a home!
Breakfast and Happy Hour really made the price of the hotel an even better bargain!
Quiet atmosphere and the lights around the trees at night make it a super cool vibe!
Comfortable cushions on the pool chairs!
Accessability to scooters, bicycles, snacks and the booking kiosks for watersports and excursions made it so easy to wake up and get your day started with NO hassle!
Good amount of sun around the pool. Lots of the hotels have soooo many trees that the pools are really shady.
Showers had plenty of hot water and great water pressure.
Nice Bath & Body Works soaps and lotions!
The location was just wonderful.....not too close to the noise and madness that Duvall can offer, but not too far either. Just a couple minute walk to Bahama Village, Key Lime Square and the Southernmost point.
CONS -
Limited amount of seating around the pool....which is to be expected at a small Inn like this. The cushions on the pool lounges were always very wet in the morning, so sitting there in street clothes didn't work.
We booked through Travelocity and thought we were getting a King Suite (bed + seating area). We didn't have a seating area and the mattress in our room (#102) was super old and needed to be replaced!!! Other guests said that their beds were comfortable, so i think that maybe our room was next on the list for replacement. I should always know to book directly through the hotel to get a better room. Fortuantely, the drinks, activity and fresh air that we enjoyed during the day made it very easy to sleep :)
Book this hotel and enjoy your stay!

I enjoyed my visit to Key West in January. The room was comfortable and attractive. There is a 24 hour CVS next door, a drop-off laundry across the street (and a Denny's, which I assume is open 24 hours, but didn't check on). The Inn is steps away from Duval and about 3/4 mile, if that, from Mallory Square. My one complaint is that the attractive courtyard area draws late night conversation, naturally, and laughter and animated conversation seems to really carry in the night air. I don't think hotel staff stays on-sight, and so there is no one to remind people to keep their conversation muted. (And in Key West, where drinking is a highly promoted activity, people aren't necessarily as considerate as they might ordinarily be.)

My husband, three adult children and I stayed here over New Years. The staff couldn't be friendlier. The continental breakfast offered each morning at the pool area was varied and fresh and we took full advantage of the evening happy hour! The pool area was very clean and relaxing. They did a great job of transforming an older motel parking lot into a relaxing garden complete with waterfall and hot tub. Our room could have used a good cleaning of the woodwork but was tidy. The linens were nice and the beds comfortable. Nicely included was bottled water and cookies upon arrival.

Me and my Wife stayed here for 2 nights during Christmas 2009 vacation. The place could not be any better than this. Starting from checking to check out, 2 days later...we had amazing time. The room was spacious..the small tropical look with a pool and lots of trees and a small water fall makes the atmosphere more romantic and relaxing.
On top of that breakfast and happy hour was great...good food and the counter person was always smiling and taking care of you....he even suggested us many places to visit in key west that is only known to locals...

And Location...Amazing..right on the intersection of Truman and Duval st....all the attractions are walking distance..

We will definitely be back here whenever we have chance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone...
