Fantastic room and location. Parked the car and walked everywhere. Great restaurants nearby but the inn itself was a quiet oasis. Only complaint was that you could hear the people above you walking but that was so minor I hate to mention it. The continental breakfast didn't have a lot of variety but more than made up for that in quality. Everything was fresh and the hostess was very helpful and friendly. Definitely a great place to stay

I did a lot of online research before picking this hotel for a 3-night stay. I felt confident I had picked a good place, but it far exceeded my expectations. one block from Duval Street so no late night noise, but close enough to be very convenient. check in was easy, the staff has been fantastic. very helpful with things to do in the area. the free breakfast was more than enough food. pool was nice. we had the privacy sign on the door when they were making up rooms but the staff left clean towels on our patio. nice touch. highly recommended and I would absolutely return.

Room Tip: our first floor room was a little bit away from the pool so that might help reduce the pool noise, a...

Green Features: I wish there were a no-smoking policy. the guests next to us smoked on their patio and as soon as we opened our door, we were assaulted with it.

Tucked off the street, this place is a hidden gem. We arrived in key west early and weren't supposed to check in until 3. We stopped by just to see if we could park and walk. The manager was amazing.... found us a clean room and let us check in early! The rooms are top class with amenities like a wine fridge and walk in shower. Definitely worth the extra $$. You even get free drink cards and complimentary continental breakfast.

This was our first, but not last, trip to Key West. I highly recommend this place and would choose to stay there again based on all the great comments already covered in many other reviews in TA.

After spending 3 days/nights in Key West, we felt the location of Almond Tree Inn was perfect: walking distance to Duval street in a quiet area, shopping & great restaurants in walking distance (Santiago's Bodega, Nine One Five, Better Than Sex, etc), a CVS next door, two bike rental places across the street, close to Hemingway House, other attractions, etc. We parked on check in and never turned the car on again until after we checked out!

We concur with all the positives previously mentioned (which is why we chose this place & as usual Trip Advisor didn't let us down) : smallish room, but very, very, clean and modern, comfy bed (could perhaps use better pillows though), great shower, cute pool and outside shared areas to relax, many couples or quiet families abound, but not too many rooms, lovely breakfast and happy hour, and we thought the staff in the mornings and check in, etc were absolutely friendly, professional, caring, etc. Loved the green laser star lights throughout the property at night - may sound cheesy but it wasn't, absolutely unique and appreciated.

Just some minor dings, that we failed to mention on check out or during our stay, as we wouldn't say it ruined our stay: 1). Internet was lousy from within room - we speed tested it and it was 0.5Mbps download, 0.1Mbps and thus unusably slow and I had to use my own hotspot to do anything 2). Pool towels were twice difficult to come by, requested once & wonderful chap provided right away, but next day when there were none again, we just used the room bath towels 3) my coffee mugs were not replaced by service the last morning we were there so couldn't use Keurig machine and we were in a mild hurry to get packed and checked out to request them back (also, the previous guests used pod was left in the machine).

All in all, we will be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Key West!

I hated to leave this place, the grounds are very attractive and comfortable, with palm trees, large gold fish, nice beach chairs and breakfast seating area. The king room was clean, with a comfortable bed, upscale bath products (shampoo, lotion, soaps), nice shower large with spray attachment. The breakfast included breads, bagels, fresh fruit (bananas,
and fruit cup some days), yogurts and dry cereal, coffee/juice. For the happy hour, they offered choice of wine and had chips, crackers and salsa dip. This place was nice and quiet, away from the noise/crowds on Duval St which we appreciated. Perfect for romance for couples. Would not recommend for families with children or singles looking to party. Friendly
staff was a plus too, (i.e. Brandon). Pool was small but very nice, never crowded when we were there with plenty of lounge chairs, and nice music piped in. Location was perfect to walk to all major attractions/restaurants/shopping.

Room Tip: Our lst floor king room was right outside the pool and just steps to the breakfast - perfect.

My partner & I stayed here last week, it is the only place we stay! Others have covered the fantastic amenities & great location so I'll just sing the praises of the best staff in Key West. This visit we had the pleasure to socialize with Bill, Brandon, Shea & Cindy. Having been to this hotel several times we've come to think of them as friends and the Almond Tree as home. The owner & staff all truly care about the quality of your stay & do their best to ensure that you have a good time. So, much thanks and love to them! Linda & I cannot wait to see all of you again!

The manager at reception was excellent-friendly, informative and relaxed. The room was lovely - clean, modern, and great facilities (microwave, kettle, fridge) which was great for having small children. Heated pool, fab buffet breakfast.

Overall excellent - wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night.
