We stayed two nights at the Orchid because of its location. What a nice place to stay! The room was top notch! Although, there wasn't a chair to sit on, but then there wasn't time for sitting around. The property is very clean, comfortable, well maintained updated facility. The breakfast was top notch with very helpful staff and a wide assortment of food that was nicely presented. The location was perfectly located away from all the bustle on the north end of Duval, but close enough to walk most places. Thanks to Kim the great hospitality and for giving us good travelers advice about the area. We really enjoyed our stay, and are looking forward to returning.

I stayed at the Orchid because of the high rating by Trip Advisor and its location. I was not disappointed. As a retired developer, I was very impressed by the care taken in turning this 1950's style motel into a first class resort. From the soft beds to the soft landscaping, they have thought of everything. The front desk staff was most accommodating and friendly. I could go on and on about the quality of the workmanship everywhere. The rooms were perfect. The location was perfect as it was on Duvall street but south of the mad house end. Great restaurants across the street. I complement the owner. Great management!

When we pulled up the first time, we were not entirely convinced. But we were pleasantly surprised! The property is small, but cosy and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and great at making recommendations. Our room was modern and very clean - the a/c and free wifi were most welcome. Bathroom small, but modern and well equipped. We relaxed around the pool and were offered a complimentary drink. Locationwise, almost equidistant to either side of Duval Street and not in the too noisy part either. One block away is a coin operated laundromat where we spent a relaxing hour watching the world go by whilst our clothes dried. Highly recommended!

Couldn't have been more comfortable in this stylish and spotless room. Lovely pool and surroundings. Super friendly and helpful staff points you to the best things to do. Perfect location - just enough away from the craziness, but close enough to walk everywhere. Would definitely return to the Orchid Key Inn.

Orchid Key was recommended by a friend who has stayed here 3 times. It is perfect in many ways! Location is ideal because you are on Duval, but it is just far enough away from the night life. The rooms are very clean and don't have that stuffy "hotel" feel. The linens, pillows, shower were all so comfortable as well! Breakfast was just right - fresh and appetizing each morning and friendly smiles on the ladies that service it - always ready to get you just what you might want! Kim at front desk was so helpful and honest. She led us the best direction for a spa, shopping bike route, sunset sailboat cruise . . . so helpful and a pleasure to work with!!
I do feel more "bike posts" could be on the site - it usually wasn't easy locking our bikes up bc many bikes already there!! That is only recommendation from me! I would stay there again in a heart beat!!

Room Tip: There are rooms that do face pool area for 2 person stay so ask about that if interested. Our room...

We spent a lovely two days in Key West at the Orchid Key Inn. It is centrally located - we didn't move our car from the parking lot while we were there! (There is a fee for use of the parking lot.) The room, although small, was lovely and the large spa-like shower was terrific. The pool area was very nice. All of the area by the pool is quiet and feels secluded despite being close to the street. We were treated very well by everyone. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Key West.

Room Tip: Get a room that looks out on the pool.

We stayed here for a long weekend-January 31-February 3. First- you couldn't ask for a better location! It is located where Truman meets Duval street so you are close to everything. Don't worry about the Duval noise- you are on the quieter end (not too far from Southernmost Point) and the inn itself is pretty soundproof between good windows, a lot of fountains and the fact that it is tucked in a ways. Second-the staff is great! The bartenders were friendly and ready to make you whatever you wanted. Brandon (front desk) was especially friendly and helpful (thanks, Brandon, for making a birthday extra special). In addition, the staff that served the continental breakfast was always so kind and ready to make sure you had what you needed. Third- the facility was very clean and well-kept. Our room was one of the cleanest I've visited. The decor was simple and appealing. We really enjoyed the pool, the bar, and the quaintness of the inn.

Room Tip: We stayed two rooms in from Duval street-good room but could hear a little street noise. If this is...
