“Relax and enjoy a Key West oasis”
Reviewed September 15, 2010

Not only was the property maintained excellently, the staff was very attentive. After spending hours in the excersize room, gazing at the bay and sky, we lounged by the lush pool sipping our martinis. The conceirge was helpful directing us to a marvelous boat outing combining snorkeling, kyacking and sunset viewing. He efficiently made our dinner reservations and direct us to the appropriate parking.
My favorite part of our room was the bathrooms "rain" shower. The room appointments and accessories were elegant. We would certainly return to this relaxing atmosphere to enjoy this tropical oasis.

The hotel is relatively nice. The rooms are small but confortable. Half of the rooms are facing a beautiful pool area, the other half is facing a HORRENDOUS parking/garbage/I-Hop area. You will be given a room facing the I-Hop parking lot/garbage. Only after you complain and if they feel like it they will change you. BUT BE AWARE that after the change your reservation will be messed up. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A DIFFERENT RATE and then they will put you through HELL. I got so mad that I even called the police. THEY ARE THIEVES and they will not apologies for anything. The cater to Europeans and must be doing good business with them; but if you are AMERICAN be ready to be treated like garbage. Most people at the front desk were French; do I need to say more. Dont get fool with the pictures and the LOW rates they will not Honor your online reservations...

My husband and I spent a week at The Inn at Key West. We stayed in a king suite that was beautifully decorated and roomy. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. It was really peaceful and the bed was very comfortable. It had a mini-fridge too. The freshwater pool is huge and surrounded by beautiful tall lush palms and tropical plants. You feel like you are in an oasis and worlds away from the hustle and bustle of US 1 even though it runs right in front of the hotel. We spent every day at the pool for several hours, because we just could'nt tear ourselves away. They provide pool towels. The hotel overlooks the bay. The food and mixed drinks at the pool's tiki-bar and cafe on-site were excellent! Try a fozen tropical cocktail...yum! It is just a short jog to Old Town, Duval St. and Mallory Square. We had a rental car and it only took 5 minutes to get to Old Town. You could take a cab or bus because it would be quite a walk. We will stay at this inn every time we come to Key West. It is a great value, the rooms are great and the staff is amazing!

We stayed at The Inn at Key West on our first vacation together and had a wonderful time. We had an issue with our room when we first arrived and it was taken care of promptly and we were even upgraded to a suite for our entire stay. The employees at the hotel are all extremely nice and helpful. They provided a lot of information about the area and important places to go see during our stay. The concierge helped us line up 2 day trips that we enjoyed immensely. The hotel was a little far from downtown, but it's very easy to get back and forth via taxi or by renting scooters. Definitely a place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

When I arrived to check in early, my room was ready and they were very friendly and polite. The pool is fantastic. They had live music playing and the bartender was great! The room was very clean and pretty up to date. The only downfall of this hotel is that it is about a $18 cab ride to Duval St. I did have one little issue with the hotel service. When I got out of the shower I stepped on a piece of glass and started bleeding like crazy. I didn't break anything but I guess the previous guest must have. My husband called the front desk for a bandage or something because a bandaid just wouldn't help the situation. They said to come and get it at the front desk. When he got to the front desk they handed him a bandaid and told him if he needed something more there was a publix down the road. I'm not holding it against them but considering I didn't break the glass you think they would have shown a little more sympathy
