Great hotel and location and very helpful staff. Breakfasts good value for money. Don't use Outback restaurant near to hotel. Food quality poor - lukewarm food on cold plates.
Only downside was room at rear of hotel anlocal refuge collection at 3.30a.m due to roadworks to front of hotel but at least this only one night per week currently on Friday early morning

We were a running team with a lot of gear. The rooms had plenty of space for the gear of 3 runners each. The bathroom had tiny french doors that were very cute. The rooms were nearly sound proof with the AC running. Plenty of towels. The pool was large, but it was still hard to get a seat in the sun.

Room Tip: Although the pool is closed at 10 pm, I would avoid a room that faces the pool if you want to avoid...

The rooms have a very small balcony only just fits two chairs. At the back no view only trees at the front main road. We only had a coffee making facility asked for a kettle and was told they did not have one. We'd had to buy our own as we don't drink coffee. The beds were made every day and towels changed but room not cleaned. The dining area is shabby and our breakfast was cold. The bar was shabby and not enough sun loungers . Always ran out of pool towels. It is 4 to 5 miles away ftom Duvall street and taxis are very expensive approx 15 to 18 dollars each way. We would not stay again

Arrived here 30th Dec 2012 to celebrate new year. On arrival quick check in, reception staff very polite and helpful, looked lovely hotel, from the outside could see rooms with balconies, it looked nice. Our room was situated on the ground floor at the end of the pool next to the laundry room. The room was so small in comparison with other hotel rooms we stayed at in the keys, it was very dark as it had no balcony, just a window with people walking past so we had to keep the curtains almost closed for privacy it was a bit like being in a cave! There were four of us in this room which i would not recommend as we had to have it in turns to open our suitcase as there was no room to put anything. Room was very clean, my husband had problems sleeping as the ac unit was right next to his side of the bed. On the plus side the pool area was lovely and the restaurant next to the pool served a really good lunch and the staff were friendly. I Hop being next door was a plus. Would not recommend as i founds the room quite depressing.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room with a balcony .

After checking in, we went to our room and were greeted by a horrible smell and a large cockroach. After calling the front desk, housekeeping did spray a little room freshener but it still smelled like a gym lockerroom. There was a puddle of water under the air conditioner that made the carpet wet. Not too nice to step on in the morning, but better than another cockroach.
The pool was very nice. We did not eat at the restaurant after checking it out, the cook was on his cellphone and the waitress/hostess was nowhere to be found. Went next door to IHOP.
The hotel was easy to find and had plenty of parking.

The room did not have an ironing board (did have an iron though), Lightbulbs were missing. The door didn't close all the way, even after latching. Probably how the cockroach got in.

As we packed up to go, noticed more bugs on the dresser. Not sure what kind, but the beds were bugless.

Not a great place to stay if you want more than a nice pool. Not going back.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool is breathtaking, probably one of the best on the island. There is a small restaurant with a variety of menu choices. My dish was very tasty, excellent portions, and service was great. This is a great choice for a hotel if you want to stay off the main drag and opt for a more quiet stay.
