This was my first time in Key West. I did book a Superior King room. The Room and hotel were magnificant! Very clean, comfortable, and the pool was breathtaking. My wife and I did have a car which was very convienient, as getting to Duval street you need some form of transportation. The hotel has a shuttle for $23/day per room, or there are taxis (I don't know the cost). The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and there was a concierge on site to help with your activities. The pool was a tropical oasis with palm trees surrounding, and they had a tikki bar with waiter service, and provided floating mats for the pool. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the shower had a regular head in addition to a wide centered head above you, in a marble tiled bath. Our room also had a 42" plasma (no HD), DVD player, private terrace, and a wall AC unit which worked great. Our stay here was perfect, we didn't eat our meals at the hotel, as we went to the great restaurants for those. YOU MUST GO TO BLUE HEAVEN FOR BREAKFAST ON YOUR TRIP!!! If we go back to key west this is where we'd stay without giving it a second thought.
