$10 per person, not crowded, interesting self-guided tour of a boat involved in every crisis since 1936. Don't bring the kids or anybody with ambulatory difficulties.

Even for a non history buff this is a really interesting tour, well put together and short enough that you can enjoy it all. You get to see a lot of the ship too.

USCGC Ingham is the most decorated boat in the US Coastguard fleet, and is beautifully preserved and presented in Key West. It is well worth the visit, especially as it was the only CGC to kill TWO submarines in WW2. Go look, you wont be disappointed.

I toured the Ingham on our last trip while my wife relaxed in the sun on the pier. A real step back in time compared to the new ships. The volunteers do as much as budget allows to keep her in good shape. If you tour be sure and drop a few dollars in the jar or buy some souvenirs so that they can continue their work. Give yourself an hour or so, there are a lot of interesting things to see on board. This is a great asset for Key West.

Floating museum gives a glimpse into what life aboard a ship in WWII would be like. Excellent educational experience for all ages. Well worth the admission.
