A fun place to take a break with a friendly staff and variety of key lime options. The day we visited, free samples of key lime fudge was readily available. We tried the frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate on a stick, really tasty. It'll be a favorite we'll return to.

It's pretty good pie, but not the best by far. (I make my own, try it everywhere and have a pretty good idea of what's good.) If you want the BEST key lime pie on Key West, get it at Blue Heaven. The pie here has a terrible fake whipped cream topping. Ugh. (Side note, Blue Heaven does theirs with a meringue which I'm not overly fond of, but their base crust and pie itself are far superior). If you scrape of the fake cream, the pie itself is pretty decent; appropriately tart. If all you have time for is a quick run in for a treat, go ahead, otherwise, go to Blue Heaven.

Best key lime chocolate covered pie on a stick. We even got to speak with Kermit and he was kind enough to have his picture taken with us! Little secret, we live in Deland and that is where the warehouse showroom is! I can have Kermit's anytime. I love it!

Very rich key lime pie on a stick. That's Kermit himself in front of the place. Totally touristy, totally fun. Key lime cookies, key limeade, key lime honey, key lime everything. TripAdvisor doesn't have an option for desert as meal option - this is a great place for desert, I didn't see any full meals or drinks. Tourist prices in tourist area, Kermit's ambiance makes it worth while.

We had heard a lot about this place before coming and also the feature on National Geographic, therefore it was marked as a must do. It was not to disappoint. I had never been a fan of Key Lime Pie but instantly became a fan after trying Kermit’s. A friendly Shop offering more than just pie, there are plenty of things to look at and if you enjoy the pie, they have their recipes for sale. If you do want to just enjoy a slice of pie, ensure you sit in the garden at the back or take it over to the water’s edge and sit down and enjoy…..

Anyone on a short stop in Key West who has not been before must stop at Kermit’s.
