Owner description: As the only air-service, we are by far the most exciting and convenient way to reach the Dry Tortugas, one of North America's most inaccessible National Parks. The Park lies in the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles due west of Key West, FL. Low altitude sightseeing flight, great snorkeling, pristine beaches, tour Fort Jefferson & bird watching. Morning, Afternoon & full day tours.

This seaplane trip to the Dry Tortugas was the highlight of our South Florida vacation. We took the early morning flight, traveling over spectacular waters. Our pilot was fantastic, pointing out lots of interesting things along the way. We had Fort Jefferson to ourselves for the majority of our visit, and it was a real treat to explore the area without crowds of people around trying to do the same thing. Julie gave us a great tour. The beach was nearly deserted and it was so relaxing to lay in the sun and enjoy the water in peace and quiet. The seaplane returns for you around 11am, just after the ferry arrives with LOTS of people. We would have loved to spend more time at the Dry Tortugas, and would recommend staying for a full day rather than the half day trip we booked. The staff was wonderful, providing snorkeling gear and a cooler with water and sodas for your trip. We cannot say enough good things about this experience. We loved it!

This group is A1 from the staff and their great attitude to the meticulously maintained equipment. We wanted a different vacation experience and the mystique of the Dry Tortuga's and getting there in a sea plane fit the bill. The flight is absolutely gorgeous, low altitude so you can see turtles and big fish, ship wrecks and dream or plot visiting them later. The flight is very smooth and I believe even flight adverse people would have very little problems. In fact it is MUCH smoother than jet travel. Fort Jefferson is a wonder to behold. A striking brick monolith rising from (my impression) Pirate infested seas where history and fantasy collide and mix. DO NOT MISS THIS. It is worth every penny.

We left on the early plane (8 am ) and had the run of the dry tortugas with no crowds. The ferry doesn't arrive til around 11 at which time we were leaving! Gorgeous spot, although the snorkeling is pretty much just swimming since the water is murky and there are very few fish. we saw more fish in the fort moat. snorkeling aside, the crew and staff at the airport and on the island were fantastic. Beach is nice. Bring your own water and snacks - you'll find none there.

It was so cool and I hate planes! Snorkeling was excellent and we all were enchanted with the views.

A beautiful flight out to a lovely island. We had hoped to snorkel more but the waves were too choppy so we had to stay near the fort. The pilot was great. We would highly recommend this adventure!
