The Bottle Inn is the only place we stay while in Key West since 2009. The owner Mark is amazing, he literally gave us the shirt off his back. Our pup is an old man and loves to stay at the Bottles Inn, Mark and his wonderful staff take great care of him while we are off frolicking around town. The accomodations are simple and comfortable, clean and affordable. Mark makes a delicious breakfast on the weekends, and sitting out on the porch with a cup of coffee is so relaxing that at times I find it difficult to leave the premises. The Bottles Inn has bike rentals on the premises which is very convenient.

Room Tip: The Panama Suite is my favorite but I also love the privacy of room 8, and if not available room 7 is also fantastic.

We have had the pleasure of staying here four times over the past few years and are always pleased with our accomodations. We also appreciate being able to bring our dog along as well. Great value in a friendly neighborhood. Thanks Mark and have a successful 2013.

Choices were limited for available, pet friendly accomodations in Key West for the weekend I was traveling. I stumbled across the Bottle Inn and am really happy I did. It was reasonably priced in comparison to many comparables, turned out to be in a terrific location, and was an overall very nice place to stay. Mark was extremely accodomating to us and my two dogs, and made us all feel right at home from the get go. We stayed in the Panama Suite which was more spacious than expected, but it was off the main house and the room was actually a former store front, so it was right off the street. It was a little strange at first, but we got used to it pretty quickly. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast as it was not really what we looking for and instead opted to go out each day, but that is neither here or there. Tough to walk the dogs in the area as grass was totally limited everywhere, but we (and the dogs) figured it out somehow. Loved the neighborhood and the 6 block walk to Duval every day, morning or late at night (where we always felt safe) and thought it was the perfect location (not too close or too far away from everything). I would think this B&B would not be perfect for everyone, but it was great for us. We would definitely come back.

the attention and local advice that mark gives his clients is priceless. there are only 8 rooms but all are spotlessly clean with air con and cable tv. breakfast is a large buffet with lots of homemade food. the inn is on a crossroad but with the speed limit and traffic lights, noise is not a problem. you can rent a bike at the inn to get around , if walking on the road to duval street 15-20 mins you pass 3 good restaurants with many more on duval . evenings talking and drinking on the porch is a great way to chill out.

Room Tip: any room is fine but there are stairs to the first floor . with only 8 rooms you have to book early. if full ,i am sure mark would soon find a place for you somewhere

When my husband and I vacationed in Key West over Thanksgiving week, our choice of the Frances Street Bottle Inn as our temporary home made all the difference. The location was perfect - away from the louder and more crowded areas, yet within easy walking distance, and in a quiet neighborhood of beautiful old houses interspersed with great restaurants and interesting little shops. We also felt completely safe there, even walking our dog late at night. And yes, Mark at the Bottle Inn welcomed our dog and made him feel as much at home as us. Mark is very friendly, full of good advice about things to do and see, and a big help in directing us to some excellent restaurants (especially the Cafe Sole right across the street, best Key Lime pie we had!). He himself makes a wonderful Frittata, one of the great breakfasts that we ate on the verandah. Having Mark as a host and the Bottle Inn as our home base made our stay seem more full of a flavor of the real Key West.

Room Tip: Room #1 on the first floor has its own entrance, is very large, has a kitchen and small living room as well as bedroom, and is dog-friendly.
