It's interesting to see all of the busts of the famous and infamous that made the Keys what they are today. Nice memorial park.

Close to the waterfront playhouse and near a great Cuban restaurant, El Maison de Pepe. The statues and busts are incredible.

Nice sculpture garden with brief information about various Key West historical figures, some with very interesting backgrounds. Kids enjoyed running around the garden to look at the roosters, hens and chicks running wild.

This was interesting to walk through to see the faces of the people who made KW what it is (or at least what it was). Each bust had the person's name and a little bio so the reader could understand their importance to the island. Also, the bricks on the ground have people's names on them. I think you can purchase your own online somewhere, which is kind of cool to have your name etched into KW history. Plus, this is free, and you can sit down and enjoy the area. Go get some conch fritters from the cart and chill for a while.

An artistic sculpture of survival invites you into the garden, but then the rest of the sculptures are the heads of historical figures of Key West. Hence it is more memorial and historical (true to its name). The works are very good and are accompanied by historical descriptions of each person's importance and contribution to the history of Key West. I think the garden could be improved by adding some more artistic pieces with sitting areas to allow rest and contemplation and to avoid over-saturation.
