Owner description: See the best of Key West on the tour that has been entertaining visitors since 1958. Our expert 'engineers' and friendly staff have delighted guests with the legends and tales of Ernest Hemingway, and Tennessee Williams and the stories of the pirates, Indians, wreckers and artists who called this island home. 90 minutes and over 100 points of interest. No Key West vacation is complete without the world famous Conch Tour Train.

If you like history and site seeing this is a nice ride. My biggest complaint is that they go so fast you only get a quick introduction to Key West history. Not even enough time to snap photos. They do point out architecture, and foliage not commonly found elsewhere.

Even though its not air conditioned the shade and breeze make it comfortable. If you are not physically able to walk or bike around Key West this might be your best option. For those of us who can take the heat I might suggest the Pelican Path (found at the chamber of commerce) or Sharon Wells’ Walking and Biking Guide to Historic Key West (we finally found at a local business, ask around).

The price for this zippy trip, is steep at over $24.00 per person, but then nothing is cheap in Key West. If you are going to other museums ask about the packages available, those are the best deals.

This was $27 a person. trust me, take the money and got to eat at 7 Fish or some other local restaurant. The trip was uncomfortable, not very interesting and if you just take some time on a bike with a map you will see everything anyway.

Very Informative and gives you a good layout of where things are. However, they were not allowed to stop and you were taking pictures from the train. No leg room.

We enjoyed the train ride throughout the town and learning some of it's history. A great way to see the whole island. Our tour guide was very knowledegable and always making jokes.

Great Way to see Key West and then decide if you want to take individual tours of the various houses and museums. Chris was well informed. If you want to be getting off and taking pictures, take the trolley, you get the same tour but can exit at various stops. We liked the train the best so we had more time to do the Duval Crawl!
