Great location-5 miles from town. Tight sites-if you are over 38 feet it may be a challenge. Clean and well kept bathrooms. Nice staff. All that said, if you need internet connection, forget it. It was slower than McDonald's and less reliable. High Speed is a joke. The old Dial Up was/is faster. Even early in the morning or late at night it was impossible. Sitting right at the WiFi source was still no help. Very disappointed in that one aspect. All other amenities were fine. BTW-it is necessary to like rooster crowing at 4 AM or earlier if you are anywhere near the streets.

The worst campground I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in 150 all over this country Mexico and Canada. The sites are so small you can damage your RV just trying to get it parked. Once your parked there is no room to park your tow vehicle. The cable TV was so fuzzy and the WI-FI was so weak and slow it was unusable. At $100 I expected better. They utilize every sq ft for tents and anything they can squeze in.

The campground has all of the amenities you need. We love the place but wish the sites were larger.

Nice camping spots, pretty quiet campground with clean facilities. Still have to drive to Key West proper, but worth it for the money saved.

We checked into Boyds over the deemed "low" season and were surprised to be charged 'high" season rates. Due to it being a weekend! It cost $90 for a site with just water and electric! We were given a tiny site - we only have a 22ft motor home and it did not fit into the site, the bonnet was in the road! The site had to share the power and water with the site behind and as we were there second we had to plug our RV into one of the outdoor plugs made for plugging lights or alike in. Consequently our power kept shorting and turning off. The water pressure was terrible as it was a shared connection - you don't get much for $90! The pool was heated to 104F - at the end of spring when that was about the temperature outside it was not cool and refreshing, rather hot and germy! Don't use the bathrooms - they are dirty and unkept. The internet only works on certain site. The draw card for coming to boyds was that they advertise a shuttle bus...nope. They tell you to get on the local bus, which is late and doesn't run in the evening1 Total waste of money - stay in a motel for the same in the center of town.

Nice grounds - can be a little windy due to their position on what I would call an inlet. The bathrooms could use a little attention by mid-day. Professional staff, nice pool.
