I'm from DC and while always interested in political history, it's great to see such a well-kept gem outside of the beltway. Truman's little known accomplishments are sometimes overshadowed by 'dropping the bomb', but they are many. The volunteers expressive tour is just as inspiring as it is informative.
Even if you don't dedicate your free time to history or politics, this is a great way to spend a few hours off Duval Street and get a much different perspective of the key itself!
Thanks go out to the volunteer tour leaders. The woman we had was a retired history teacher that was gracious as a host and had complete knowledge on the subject!
