There's a nice museum on the property with many good photos and a nice gift shop. The LIghthouse is pretty amazing and its a killer to ascend, especially if you're old like me. The view from the top is worth it.

Interesting, restored lighthouse built inland and not on the water. Senior discount. Lighthouse keeper house also available to view. Probably overpriced for what it is but the fee does support the lighthouse restoration and upkeep

Great Walking Tour of Light House. Once you get to the top of the light house the 360 degree views of Key West are awesome. Ticket prices are reasonable and offers Seniors, children and military discounts. Plan to spend at least 1 hour touring light house and small museum and do not miss the small shop. There are plenty of items for everyone. Be sure to there as early as possible as lines build fast depending on how many cruise ships are in port.

The museum in the Keeper's Quarter is truly interesting. But the best part is to climb the stairs to the top of the lighthouse and have a tremendous view over the city of Key West and the ocean beyond.

This was a nice excursion but a little pricey for our family of 7 when we were there for less than an hour. Definitely climb to the top of the lighthouse for exceptional view of the island.
