Owner description: Wild dolphin & Shallow water snorkel day trips - Champagne Celebration Sunset Sailing - Private Charters for the entire group, or just a few! It's always upscale on this beautiful 28 seat sailing catamaran because of quality controls - like 14 maximum on public trips, up to 19 on Private. Join our Wild Dolphin, Snorkel & Sailing Adventure day trip to visit Wild Dolphins in the shallow waters off Key West, Snorkel reefs, wrecks and giant sponge gardens (wherever it's best) and enjoy some great Sailing too. Top quality snacks, fruit, soft drinks, beers and wines are always included free on Catamaran Echo. Our Key West Sunset & Moet Cruise includes only the best of the best served on the water - Champagne, 7 premium Wines, 3 top Beers and our famous Gourmet Cheese Buffet. Even better - Moet & Chandon Champagnes are available as an upgrade, and at wholesale prices, but only to our guests. It's nice to know that you'll only be served the best, while sailing into the Key West sunset.

A big thank you to Captain Tom for helping to organize a perfect Wedding Reception Cruise for our small party of 8. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a delicious assortment of gourmet eats and drinks, especially the shrimp that was ordered in for us fresh that day. Special thanks also to the crew, Captain Eddie and First Mate Melanie for being such great hosts and helping to make our cruise extra special ! Despite the wind not co-operating, they still managed to find the dolphins and a manatee!! We are so happy we chose Catamaran Echo for our special occasion, it was truly a memorable day.

My boyfriend Marc & I had this planned for our 5-year anniversary. I highly recommend this to anyone, particulary couples, that are going to Key West! The boat does not have a lot of passengers which is a huge plus. The captain Noah and his assistant (I'm sorry I forgot your name!) were so nice and gracious. It's all you can drink champagne in the 2 hours that you are on the cruise - you can also have wine or beer. There is cheese, crackers and fruit - all were very delicious!

Marc had been in contact with Tom who runs these cruises several times prior to the cruise. He was so accomodating, as Marc was going to propose on the sunset cruise. Wow, they had everything planned and it was perfect. Thank you to the crew of the Echo 2 for making that evening so special!

Again, highly recommend taking this sunset cruise, it's inexpensive and well worth it!!

First let me say the crew was great, esp. Capt Eddie. A boat ride on the ocean is nice. The owner advertises that he only takes half a boat (14 vs 28 max on boat) but we were quite tight at 14.
However, we did not see any dolphins, nor did it seem like we really hung out to see if any showed up, it was more "lets see if we see any as we cruise through". The snorkeling was horrible. We went to a spot with sandy sea grass and a few dropped refrigerators (marked by an orange buoy) because "fish like them". There was a few fish, nothing special. No sea life, no coral. This was the most disappointing part of our trip, especially at the premier price Echo charges. I realize that they do not have control over the dolphin showing but the lack of snorkel area was the final straw. Had I not been on vacation I would have fought to get our money back, or at least part of it. If you have to take the boat trip, there are less expensive options.

Dear Lori D,

We're more disappointed than anybody when a passenger has reason to feel that they did not get a good value from one of our trips. We ask and encourage anyone that, if there was ever any deficiency in any one of our excursions, they would let us know directly as soon as possible after the trip. Even when it is something out of our control, like the wind for sailing or seeing our wild dolphin friends, we always want to make sure our customers have a good as possible experience overall from the many facets of our trips.

While we don't snorkel a spot where old refrigerators are, the crew does take great care in taking our guests to the best snorkeling spot from Mother Nature - everyday. The conditions do sometimes change, even during a trip. But I assure you that the crew always does the best that they can for your overall good experience on the waters of Key West. Many times the best snorkeling is in a certain direction from the boat, so the crew always works hard to be clear with their snorkeling directions. And while every day is different out there, that is what makes it exciting, like any great safari. And if you read some of our other reviews, we do have many glorious but different days in the same locations as you were. While we always strive not to go out in generally not nice conditions, passengers have also been rewarded many times with some of our most exciting wildlife experiences when the conditions were maybe not perfect at the dock. The crew always tries to let folks know everything we know about the conditions before we go, and they never leave the dock unless they expect a rewarding experience for all.

And nothing upsets us more than you not seeing our wild dolphin friends on our Wild Dolphin, Snorkeling & Sailing Adventure. Even though we see them 99% of the time, the crew feels terrible when we don't, and when you don't. And even though everyone knows that we cannot guarantee it, we always offer everyone to go with us again for free on another day, as mentioned in another recent review.

We sincerely wish that you would have spoken directly to the Captain privately right after the trip about your overall trip disappointment. There would have been no "fight" necessary to get some compensation, as our main goal at Echo is always to do our best to make people happy. Please contact us through the email link on the bottom of our website if you would like to discuss your trip experience with us directly.

Thank you.

A superb cruise which for once lived up to all the "blurb". A small number of travellers, a never ending supply of champagne, nibbles to keep you going, friendly, helpful crew, and there was even the sunset as promised! All while we were able to look over at the crowds on the quayside from our peaceful perfect cruise. The definite highlight of our week in Florida, highly recommended.

Noah and Mel gave us and outstanding trip! It was an amazing afternoon. The Heineken and wine flowed freely after the snorkeling. We didn't see dolphins this trip (thru no fault of theirs) and they offered us a free trip to following day to compensate. Who does that? We will definitely return.
