Owner description: Islescapes is an incredible gourmet dinner hosting a maximum of 6 guests on a beautiful motor yacht. Everything is cooked fresh on a huge grill right in front of you and served on white linens and beautiful china. The service is impeccable and the food is fantastic!

Planned a surprise dinner cruise for my wife with the help of Capt. Alex and it was very easy. Responded to my emails and phone calls very fast. Very accommodating when i was running little late. Took us out into calm open waters. Gave us some info regarding the surrounding areas. Made us a great dinner on board. We got to see the perfect sunset, just amazing to take pictures. Definitely would recommend to anyone that's looking for some nice quite peaceful dinner. Took the cruise in May of 2012

Our thank you to Capt. Alex is way over due!! Thank you so much for making our engagement such a memorable night. The boat, service and dinner were exquisite!! The night was so pure, thoughtful and right!! It was perfect!! We have sinced moved from SW Fl to Charlotte, NC and now we are planning a wedding, and maybe in the Keys it will be. I do know one thing and that is every time we go back to the Keys we will definitely be in contact with Capt Alex. This will not be the last time we use his services! We will continue to tell everyone we know who plans a trip to the keys, to look this guy up! Thanks Again!!

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary aboard the "Something Hot" a 33 foot boat on Schooner's Wharf in Key West, FL. What an experience. Captain Alex has a PhD in the medical field, which he gave up to enjoy life in the Keys. The captain is also a gourmet chef. He is assisted by his first mate Della, reported as recently graduated college, becoming a marine biologist. We learned of this sunset dinner cruise from the concierge Nordi, at the Santa Maria Suites Resorts. He told us this would be a very unique experience and he was true to his words.
We boarded the boat several hours before sunset, and we leisurely cruised to a very quiet spot, several nmiles from the dock. The captain, then went into chef mode and started to prepare a dinner for the 6 people on the cruise. Six is the maximum amount that he allows on the cruise, so it is a very intimate experience.
Dinner, for us consisted of a shrimp boat, made of a hollowed out cucumber, served with a spicy sauce. Garlic bread was served along with either house or ceasar salad. We then had a Portobello mushroom cap grilled with cheese. The main course for us was a fresh yellow snapper filet, with an "alfredino" sauce, a variation of Alfred. My wife had the fish with a sweet and spicy (island) sauce . We finished with fresh strawberries with a key lime whipped cream. WOW is what we kept saying to each other after each course. Other items are also available including steak and pork. When you make reservations, the captain/chef takes your dinner order.
The boat is BYOB, since the boat is not licensed to serve anything besides soft drinks/water if you do not bring your own.
Following dinner, we were able to watch the sun sink slowly into the Gulf (the sizzle never happened). Another great experience, since we had a nice sunny day and evening.
The chef changed his hat again and returned us back to the dock.
This was the perfect way to spend a very special anniversary.
Obviously we would highly recommend this experience to all who visit in Key West.
