“Fun but small”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

You have to go with a tour, which is fun if a little long, but then when that is over you climb the tower for the great view and you are pretty much done. If you want to read the bits on show you can but you still wont stay that long, although it is a good set up and they do a deal with the aquarium to get group tickets.

“Great fun”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

The experience they create is quite fun and entertaining while also teaching some history of the island and the salvage business created by nearby shipwrecks. A must see for first time visitors

“Interesting Museum”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

The museum has a wealth of information on the history of shipwreck salvaging in Key West. As a history guy, I found it quite interesting. The lookout tower on top of the museum gives a great view of Key West, and you can easily visit Mallory Square since it's close by.

“Good place to see some of the wrecking history..”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Located near Mallory square. Shows how they would spot wrecks at sea and then how they would pillage them. First come first serve.. BRUTAL back in the day. Cool displays and good for the kids..
