Fantastic stay at Parrot Key. We stayed with another couple in a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. This was ideal because we had privacy but also a common area. It would be great room for families as well. The furnishings were simple but well done. The grounds are absolutely fantastic ! Gorgeous. 4 pools with plenty of umbrellas for shade and lounges to relax. The tiki bar served simple but good food. ( gratuity is already included) The staff was awesome. very knowledgeable and friendly. Especially Dean at the bar! Water sport rentals available on property. It is off the beaten path. About 2 miles from Duval. It is walkable but would only suggest doing it during the cooler hours as there is little shade. However, plenty of cabs around and it is a flat rate of 4 bucks per person downtown. (7 bucks to the airport) also bike rentals and scooter rentals are available. The concierge can help with those as well as other excursions. It's hard to believe that this resort sits next to a Walgreens and across from a strip mall. Never heard any traffic or commotion. Walgreens and a liquor store were right next store so we were able to grab some waters and beers in our fridge. Two balconies , one over looking the gardens and another the causeway . Well done, Parrot Key!

Room Tip: Need space...2 bedroom suite. All views are awesome. Water views will be the causeway not the ocean...

Affordable pricing place, that surprises due a lot of details once you are inside of the room. I got one 2 bedroom suite that was really good, clean, well equipped and plenty of amenities. The balcony opened to pools view was great. I can not say much about bar or restaurant because I stayed just one night, so my comments are just about the pure accomodation. Besides this, the staff was friendly, and even knowing that the checkout is at 11:00 am, they let us to stay up to noon. Definitely, nice place to stay in Key West. I´ll repeat again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parrot Key. It's definitely away from the main part of the Old Town and was pretty quiet. We had a water view suite which was very spacious. The four pools in the hotel means that not one of them is every crowded. We enjoyed our interactions with the staff and our waiter at the pool side cafe was even kind enough to mention he knew about our injured friend. It is next door to a Walgreens, but we found that convenient for grabbing snacks and other items with no hassle. Everything was clean, beautiful and new

Room Tip: If you want a water front suite you may want to request ground floor for beach access. While our vie...

the hotel and surroundings are very well kept and you would not know you are so close to a busy road, so peace full and tranquil my wife loved our room walking out onto the sand and the bay view, well worth the extra cost, four swimming pools not to big yet not overcrowded, could not fault any of the staff no mater what there job all very good, the reception staff went out of there way to make my wife;s birthday special, I could not thank them enough, just wished the bar stayed open a little longer and that they had a shuttle service into the harbor, although cabs are not that expensive, will recommend this to all my family and friends, and will not stay at any other hotel when we go back.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful rooms, excellent quality. Pool areas are just lovely and secluded and private. Staff friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be the cost of drinks is expensive. We tended to go next door to the mart and buy drinks and drink them by the pool. The other problem is the hotel doesn't serve food in the evening, which forces you to go out.

We requested a water view room and got an absolutely wonderful suite. We had to pay additional money for it, but it was well worth it. We were able to see the pier (although it was very small) and the Gulf of Mexico. Also, the rooms were very spacious, and we had a great balcony overlooking the water. The staff was top notch. They helped us out with every question we had and even helped out a number of us who waited (which seemed like forever!) for taxis--they offered to transport us downtown so we wouldn't miss dinner cruises and restaurant reservations. The only negatives were the views of the power lines in the Gulf and a not-so-great menu at their restaurant. Overall, however, we'd say that it's a great resort to stay at.

Room Tip: Go to their site and check out all of their rooms and request a water view because some of the rooms...

This is a first class hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pools were clean and plenty of room for guests to lounge. Rooms are spacious, clean and beds are very comfortable. Beach area provided a great view for beautiful sunsets.
