This place is fantastic - Great rooms , great facilities, super clean, no problems with bugs / mosquitoes etc
& great value.
The Bay is very quite peaceful and the sunsets the best I have ever seen, will defiantly be returning.
Free use of water sports U barbecues, food at the ballyhoos restaurant is also good and good value - great wine list .

I liked the Coconut Bay-our room was smaller than I would have hoped but equipped with fridge/microwave/utensils. It was clean and had charm. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boats. The sunsets were amazing, the pool relaxing, the staff amenable. I'd go back but pay for the larger room.

This hotel is made of bungalows. We had the 22 : no ocean view but a practical 2 queen beds with mivcrowave, small fridge and dinnerware. This is smart as you don't have to take your 3 meals at the restaurant, and then save a little money.
The owners and the staff in general are super friendly.
The property is very well maintained. the rooms are clean. I didn't use the heated pool, but looked clean. The long chairs on the ocean side are a perfect place for a nap.
I would recommend, and I would come back !

I rarely believe in staying in the same hotel twice.. but Coconut Bay would make me run back! It was such a cute little property away from the hustle but close to everything. I read other reviews that commented on the customer service - I have to comment, that I found the staff to be remarkably helpful, informative and seemed to be excited to recommend fun activities and hear about adventures. I can't comment on the pool - but I will say that the kayaks were fun, we saw a stingray, and a manatee spent the afternoon directly under their dock munchin' away on seagrass.
No - this isn't a "resort" with a spa.. but there is plenty of room to enjoy beautiful views and dig the clean and affordable rooms. We paid $75 for a small room that was clean and really cute. I would return to this place if ever in the area. It is near all sorts of fun activities including the wildlife rehabilitation center - MM97 - a must see at 3:30pm.
If you are looking to enjoy all the northern Keys have to offer on a shoestring, this is your place. Good people, good fun, great prices.

We had a lovely couple of days at Coconut Bay. Our room was tastefully furnished with a wonderful view of the coconut palms and water's edge. The room was very clean with plenty of towels provided. Lovely comfortable bed and a choice of keeping cool with either the air conditioning unit or ceiling fan. The toiletries provided were of good quality and it was really handy to have a fridge, microwave and coffee machine in the room. The use of kayak's was a good idea (even though we realised we're no good at it!) - we really got the giggles! I found the staff very friendly and helpful - I think maybe they responded to how they were spoken to in the first place?!
The best bit of all though was the backdrop to the magnificent sunsets and seeing manatees feeding off the jetty..... you can't put a price on the wonders of nature.
