We've lived in the Keys for a couple of years. Never visited Ballyhoo's. Shame on us. On a whim we decided to stop in this week. What a delight this restaurant was. Food was amazing but the service was even better. I suggest the lobster with key lime butter. DElicious. I must stop while in the Keys. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been visiting Key Largo for 30 years, we just this year got introduced to Ballyhoos. What a great surprise. Homemade biscuits, strawberry jam and pepper jelly start your meal off and they are reason enough to try Ballyhoos. Add to it the use of fresh ingredients in their sauces, a brew menu with enough variety to please all the palates, and wonderful eclectic menu selections make it worth the trip. Ask for Chastity, she's a fount of information and a delightful server. We'll make a point of hitting MM97 every time we visit the Keys.

I've lived in Key Largo for 16 years and have been to Ballyhoos many times but hadn't been in a while. For my birthday I decided to go there with my mother and loved their new vegan menu and I'm not a vegan. Loved every bite! Will be back soon.

Despite passing this restaurant often and thinking it looked interesting, we had never eaten there because it is a bit of a drive up from our Islamorada hotel. This time we made the effort and are so pleased we did. We enjoyed it so much we forgot to give our server our 10% off coupon!
We sat in the courtyard patio and found it quite pleasant. I had the Yellowtail Snapper topped with crab and my husband had grilled lobster. Both were excellent. The service could not have been better.
We will certainly be back next trip.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you gave us a shot! :-) The Yellowtail Hemingway that you had is a restaurant specialty, as is the Butter Poached Herbed Lobster that your husband had. We look forward to seeing you again. :-)
