We were guests of our family at the Ocean Reef Club and it was wonderful! Being a member has it's privileges and it's so worth it. The Club has so much to offer couples, families and whom ever wants to enjoy the keys in 5 star style. All the restaurants are delicious, the service is professional, friendly and helpful. We had a golf cart through our stay and it is recommended. The main pool is great and the adult pool is peaceful, we enjoyed kayaking, fishing, tennis, golf and the kids enjoyed the camps, petting zoo and of course the ice cream shop. Alabama Jacks rocks! During season it is the place to be! Ocean Reef is a true getaway and was most enjoyable

Room Tip: Rented a home very just steps from the main hotel pool great location. Hotel rooms are very nice an...

I went to the Ocean Reef Club for a friend's wedding in April, and it was amazing! We stayed in a 3 bedroom house on the golf course, but several other guests stayed in condos and hotel rooms, and said they had a great stay too!

Upon check in you have the opportunity to rent a golf cart for $40/day, and I STRONGLY suggest this! It is really the only way to get around the property unless you are in the mood for a lot of long walks!

The pool is great, lots of children, but never loud or busy which was nice. There was only one restaurant open for lunch near the pool, and the food was great!

The wedding, and reception were spectacular! The club really paid attention to detail, and nothing was over looked. The flowers, table settings, food, cake, band, and service was 10 out of 10!

I cannot wait to go back!

Room Tip: The houses are all nice (individually owned), and the condos by the marina are great too!

Beautiful suites with tasteful tropical decor. We had a wonderful room in the Dolphin wing with a nice balcony and ocean views. There are limited restaurants, but The Ocean Room serves great breakfast and a killer Seafood buffet (I usually don't care for buffets). Room service was good. Housekeeping was very good and kept our room nicely stocked. LOVED the lime bath bar and starfish handsoap!! The mini bar in our room was filled with outdated products, but it was promptly restocked. The Fishing Village has charming stores and good eateries, although several were closed until Labor Day and you need to take a golf cart to the Village unless you don't mind walking in the heat. However, the valet will give you a ride. The front desk staff was so-so. They seemed to be tired and cranky from the heat and humidity! The grounds are well-kept and pool and beach areas are lovely. The resort is in a remote location on the Northern tip of Key Largo and since it is member owned, they do have a dress code - mostly casual resort wear

Room Tip: Request a room with a full ocean view. There are several buildings and some do not have views.

Has a great time at Ocean Reef. Great setting. Beautiful guest rooms with attention to detail with crown mouldings and local art both in the room and in the water closet. Had lunch at Palm Court and it was yummy, I love sweet potato fries.......

Everyone of the staff that we encountered were professional and friendly. Took our bikes with us and road them all over the island.

Room Tip: People who know say to go to Anderson's off of Card Sound Road right near the toll booth. Vacati...

The room was very clean, large and recently updated. The service was excellent, food was great, and the grounds well kept. We're not members but everyone treated us as we were!

Stayed at Ocean Reef Club for a 2 day conference. Room was in the Dolphin Building and was very nicely appointed. Appeared to have been recently renovated with lovely tile work and a great view of the lagoon and ocean.

Bathroom was huge and very comfy. Bed was large and cozy with all the comforts of home. Room was dark and quiet at night and sleep came easy.

One of the most impressive parts of the stay was the food at the conference. I have been to many of these and the food is marginal at best. Not the case at the Ocean Reef Club; the food, all of it, was superb. We had one sitdown dinner and one buffet and both had a terrific caribbean flair.

I would absolutely reccomend anyone thinking of holding a business function at Ocean Reef Club to seriously consider the location. In addition, I am making plans to take my wife there for a personal trip as well.

We attended a conference here and spent two wonderful nights in a room in the Pompano building. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, modern, very comfortable and quiet. Our room had a view of the top of a palm tree however we didn't spend much time looking out the window.
We took advantage of the pool area and took walks throughout the magnificent grounds. The club was not very busy at this time of the year so we had plenty of places to enjoy the sun and poolside.
Very few of the restaurants were open but we had no complaints about eating dinner at the Islander both nights. The fish was excellent and the sushi (their specialty) ranks with the best I've ever head.
A 20% service charge is added to all services and every service employee we encountered did everything they could do to justify earning it. We especially compliment Sean in the Islander Bar who makes a wicked Pineaplle-tini!
