We attended a conference here and spent two wonderful nights in a room in the Pompano building. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, modern, very comfortable and quiet. Our room had a view of the top of a palm tree however we didn't spend much time looking out the window.
We took advantage of the pool area and took walks throughout the magnificent grounds. The club was not very busy at this time of the year so we had plenty of places to enjoy the sun and poolside.
Very few of the restaurants were open but we had no complaints about eating dinner at the Islander both nights. The fish was excellent and the sushi (their specialty) ranks with the best I've ever head.
A 20% service charge is added to all services and every service employee we encountered did everything they could do to justify earning it. We especially compliment Sean in the Islander Bar who makes a wicked Pineaplle-tini!More
