“Nice Attraction, Worth the money”
Reviewed June 21, 2011

The attraction offers alot. It offers snorkeling , beach , fishing, aquarium and theatre ,and boat trips. We took the glass bottom boat out to a reef and enjoyed seeing all the fish and sea life first hand. We don't snorkle or dive, but they have boat trips for this also. There are many trips scheduled throughout the day. I would reccomend getting there early or call and get their schedule before arriving. We were told by someone that the boats didn't have schedules, but upon arrival we discovered that they do. We had just missed the trip by a few minutes, so we had to wait for it to return , which wasn't too bad. There is an onsite grill with good food as well as a gift shop. We did not explore the whole place, but it seemed asthough many families arrived and spent the whole day there. It was very hot , but there is airconditioning in the shop, grill, and aquarium and theatre that is open to everyone at no additional cost. The boat we went on was large and had airconditioning downstairs and a large open deck with ample seats upstairs. They also sell snacks and beverages on board, although I don't think they sell any alcholic beverages. Overall very nice and enjoyable. Would definetly go back.

“Cute little beach in Key Largo”
Reviewed October 9, 2010

The attraction shows as being in Key West but this is actually in Key Largo\Tavernier (100 miles away). From US 1, just follow the signs to the park oceanside at around MM 92\93.

There is a cute little sandy beach here, man made, with a walled in half circle around it probably to hold in the sand and reduce wind\waves. This creates a cool place to snorkel (if you have your own gear). There are tons of small fish and some weird coral type things.

There are picnic tables and such and a boat launch too. Fee was $5 per person but only on weekends.

“Quiet Little Neighborhood Beach”
Reviewed February 26, 2008

My kids and I have been going to this Beach/Park for a few years since beaches are (believe it or not) few and far between in the Keys. We like this because its safe for smaller kids to swim in the "corral" - a seawall was built - and there is a playground and picnic areas. Its a quiet area and we like it because its just what a young family needs. It is also popular with older people because no one bothers you - you can read a book in peace. There is also a boat launch. We have also climbed over the wall and snorkeled there. Dont go too far though as their is the boat channel. This is one of our favorite places in Key Largo.
