Highly recomend you get a captain that knows the water as we saw one boat run aground . We recomend Captain Mick very knowledgable. The boat was clean fast and used about 8 gallons of gas in 4 hrs. the resturant food was very good the key lime pie excellent. would do it again if we ever go to key largo again.

Reviewed August 24, 2011

On July 29,2011 we rented a PONTUNE through GROUPON. My husband reviewed and signed the PONTUNE contract which noted that the PONTUNE's propeller had "dents and dings". My husband suggested taking a picture but the PONTUNE's employee stated not to worry since it was already noted. we departed on a snorkeling trip with our family. An hour late (around 3:30) we stopped to go snorkeling. There were jellyfish in the area so my husband tried to turn the boat back on and it would not start. We called the company and were provided with instructions however the vessel refused to start. An hour later their mechanic arrived, and very quickly restarted the boat. We asked to see what he had done, but he refused and stated that we should be glad it started. Since most of the passengers were now seasick we went directly back to shore, following the mechanic's directions to "aim for the tower". On the return my husband did note that for a short period of time we traveled outside the markers where the water was low (it was our first boat trip in the Keys), he quickly remedied the situation.

Upon our return we were charged $121.08 for gas for the use of a vessel that would not restart and then charged $250.00 for a damaged propeller.

We had to paid $398.43 . There was no manager on site to discuss the matter.
