My wife and I stayed at the Key Largo Bay Beach Resort for just one night on our way to Key West and were extremely pleased with the resort. We actually wished that we could've stayed much longer. The lobby was small, but very nice. The employee at the front desk was one of the nicest desk clerks I've encountered for a long time. We had dinner in the hotel's bar which overlooks the beach, ocean, and a lot of the resort (which is beautifully lit at night). The restaurants food is very good and the service was great as well. Rooms were clean, no problems there...and the balconies on each room are very large.

Since we were only there one night, we didn't get to experience all the resort had to offer. Businesses were set up along the hotel's beachfront with jet ski's, boat rentals, and snorkeling tours. Very convenient. Parking and internet service were both free too. I would definitley recommend staying at this resort.

We enjoyed our recent stay - the staff were very friendly and the rooms are incredibly beautiful and quite large. The rooms overlooking the beach have a wonderful view. The breakfast buffet was high quality and a good value - great view. The pool bar has great food. Dinners at the restaurant are good quality with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the live music at the pool bar on Saturday afternoon. Loved the gift shop, too - beautiful sarongs and island-dresses. Have a meal at the Conch House restaurant down the street, too - very high quality food. Refrigerators in room and Publix down the street - very convenient. Make sure you drive further down the Keys to see more natural beauty - Key Largo is convenient, but the Keys are prettier as you go a little further down. This Marriott is a good location though for driving back to the airport in Miami or Ft Lauderdale, though, as driving through the Keys can take quite a while - traffic backs up.

We had a wonderful time at the Key Largo Marriott. Great location to stop on the way further down the keys or as your final destination. Rooms right on the water, fabulous food and a private pool that wasn't very crowded. Perfect.
The beach is not a great swimming beach, it is a florida keys beach, small with sea grass. For a tip we had an awesome breakfast at a cuban restaurant next to the resort.

Was disappointed. The price and brand implied a better quality fit/finish. Tub caulk and grout were moldy. Closet was open-style, not designed to have doors. Balcony door didn't close; A/C wouldn't turn on unless that door latched. Maintenance fixed door. Will not return to this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott for 2 days this past July. This was my first experience with a Marriott Hotel (as I am a loyal Starwood customer) and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful. When we checked in the girl at the front desk was extremely helpful and took the time to share with us all of the available services and amenities at the hotel.

Our room was very spacious and clean and had a nice view of the pool and beach (I would definitely recommend getting a room with a view). The pool area was very nice and the beach although small was very clean and has chairs, hammocks and umbrellas for the guests to use at no extra charge.

This hotel is very family friendly as there were many young kids at the hotel. With that being said, the pool sometimes got a little rowdy and noisy as the kids were having a great time jumping in the pool and playing water games. The pool is not very large so sometimes they did manage to splash some of the other pool goers. I didn't really mind this but there were a few older guests who did not seem pleased. If you are looking for a very quiet and relaxed setting then I would take this into consideration....depends on what your preferences are. If you are looking for a hotel for everyone to enjoy then this is it.

The sunset view from this hotel is absolutely stunning. Gus' grill which is on the hotel grounds was a great restaurant where we had both dinner and breakfast. One word of advice, as beautiful as it may be, I don't recommend sitting outside during dinner if you are bothered by mosquitos.....my husband and I were both eaten like crazy. The staff at the restaurant were very helpful and understanding when we asked to be moved inside when we could no longer take it. The restaurant was also very reasonably priced and the food was great.
