We stayed here 2 nights & loved the location & the room was beautiful facing the water, we did paddle boarding, wave runners & even Kayaking & Keith was great at going through everything with us & my kids even enjoyed an ocean biology hands on with staffs Becca & Julie by the water. They were wonderful & explained about the stuff they caught while we were watching them with their nets. Great place for the whole family.....

Room Tip: higher the floor gives you a better view of the water if you choose water view

I have just wrapped up my second trip (part business/part fun) to the Key Largo Bay Marriott Beach Resort. It is a quiet property with a nice pool area, unique and small beach set up and merely adequate guest rooms. Your room door will open to the outdoors, it is worth noting.

If you are seeking a simple get away and do not want to be amongst the fuss of South Beach then this is a nice destination after leaving MIA. You will find the beds to be comfortable, the food and drinks to be better than average and the wait staff to be mostly engaged. We will revisit this property at some point to be sure.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view or you may be looking at the highway.

We needed to go. So we checked in on Sunday Mother's Day and had a nice relaxing time. We left the phones in the room, lazed around on the beach and around the pool. Enjoyed tropical drinks and had some delicious meals at the restaurant watching the sunset in the keys. Doesn't get any better than that.

We stayed one night on way to Key West. This was not our first time staying here. The location and the property are very nice. The rooms are very musty. It felt like there wasn't enough light in the room. The balcony had a crappy table on it - they could do better. The beds are so unbelievably high that I was afraid I would fall out of bed & hurt myself. The bathroom is very dated. We weren't thrilled they charged for parking (I don't recall this from our previous stay). Of course, there was a resort fee which included inet which barely worked. We just used our data plan while we stayed there. One of the restaurants was closed for renos and the other one had a private function. We ate at Gus's for breakfast the next morning. Terrible service. Our waitress, didn't even smile. She was unfriendly and very short with us for no reason. The next time we go, we'll try a different hotel.

I stayed at the Key Largo Marriott for two night after being burned by the Playa Largo Resort (non opening-no cancellation call) To put it mildly, I was not looking forward to staying here but was a reluctant guest. Once I got over my frustrations I have to say the resort was nice. The room was great except for the very high beds (too high to get in and out). The room was a first floor corner room with a good bay view. The pool was nice and the view was spectacular. The poolside drinks and food were also good.

Room tip: 2nd floor or higher in the mail building with a bay view. The air conditioner worked well. The balcony was a great place to relax

We arrived at the Marriott Key Largo On May 4th - We were given a corner room on the second floor - beautiful views of the Bay and pool area!
We had dinner at gus's grill - Okley was the waiter very nice - food was good - in fact we ate at Gus's every night we were there - which was a total of 6 nights - the manager of that restaurant was very pleasant as well - we met him at the Flipper pool bar too! We ate at that restaurant for Breakfast as well the staff was beyond helpful !
The tiki bar is being repaired and rebuilt so the happy hour was upstairs from the restaurant and that left a lot to be desired unfortunately ! so if you are looking for the happy hour experience you will not find it there - you do get happy hour prices though !
We enjoyed the bartenders Cory and Carlos - they work very hard and do an excellent job at the pool bar !
We were not too pleased with the housekeeping services each day the service seemed to deteriorate - by Monday - we barely got service - each day I needed to request additional bath towels the last morning they barely left two towels - and never removed the dirty silverware or glasses - so housekeeping would get a C! but that did not keep us from enjoying the over all experience!
We did have to pay for parking and the space in the garage is limited and tight .
The weather and the views from the room were fabulous.
We went to the everglades national park from this hotel - very short distance and well worth the trip - we were able to visit all three visitor center Coe, Royal Palm and Flamingo.
We have been Marriott reward members and time share owners since 99 and have stayed at many Marriotts and this one is very nice! we would go back again !

Room tip: Corner Rooms with views of the bay and pool are wonderful - second floor or higher is the best!
