“Great Views of Molasses Reef”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

It takes about 45 minutes to get out to Molasses reef and you have maybe 20-30 minutes going over the reef. I have been on snorkeling trip to the reef that was off of Key West, but was disappointed because the reef there wasn't nearly as vibrant and lively as Molasses Reef.

We had a full ship on Sunday to go out on the Glass Bottom Boat Cruise, but everyone had a good view of the reef below us.

I was most impressed with the variety of coral. There are fish, but it isn't quire a stock full of fish as you see of video's of reefs on TV. I would like to go back to the reef and do a snorkeling tour and get a closer view of the coral and wildlife.

The ship is nice and didn't have any problem with a rocking motion. The water wasn't too rough. You could definitely feel the rocking of the ship more on the second deck, which is where you will find the snack bar.

Very enjoyable way to spend a few hours and the kids really enjoyed it.

“We enjoyed it!!!”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

We took the 10am tour and were able to use a coupon. There were about maybe 20 people total which was nice. Everyone was able to sit around the glass and view the reef without having their view obstructed. The 2 guides on board were friendly and knowledgeable. The trip was a total of 2.5 hrs. We saw many fish on the reef without having to snorkel or dive.
Inside cabin had air conditioning and bathrooms. The upper outside deck had a cover for the sun and a bar.

We would recommend it.

Only negative is that they actually still allow smoking in a designated area outside!! Pretty gross having to smell that whenever you are going up or down the outside stairs.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise to Molasses Reef. Great crew, very knowledgeable. Saw sharks, turtles, ballyhoos before we even got to the reef. Highly recommend.

“Very good experience”
Reviewed May 9, 2012

I spent a really good time on the Key Largo princess for a 2 and 1/2 cruise along the coral reef. The boat is secure and the employees are very nice. You stay on the deck till the boat arrives around coral reef and then you go down to see it thru the glass bottom. We can see very well and you also can have explanations about what you see. Then you sail back to the port and you can see amazing houses and yachts. The price of this attraction is 30USD but you can easily have discounts.
