Owner description: A premier dive site in the Florida Keys, this Treasury-class Coast Guard cutter was sunk intentionally to create an artificial reef.

This dive is worth your time. She is a sister to the USS Duane. Funny, one of the sailors that used to be on the Duane said the Bibb was plagued with problems, they were always helping her out and taking her runs when she was broken. We laughed when we realize the poor Bibb couldn't even sink right, she landed on her side!

Well worth a visit, beautiful bright colors and lots of cup corals and the side orientation is interesting to see.

This and the USGC Duane are excellent night dives for advanced divers when the conditions are right. The wreck was covered in orange cup corals.. never seen anything like it

Just dove this wreck and very top of the ship is now at 102ft. The ship is on its side and losing structural integrity. I would suggest you rush to see it but the Duane is the same ship, shallower and upright.

We were able to dive here, apparently a rare occurance. Heavy current and deep bottom makes this an advanced dive. A goliath grouper and bullshak made it worthwhile.
