“BEST WINGS IN THE KEYS”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2014

The WINGS are far better than any others in the FLORIDA KEYS. Our server, TIFFANY, was fantastic. Never had to ask for anything more than once. GREAT atmosphere and food. Thanks SHIPWRECKS.

“Great atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2014

This was the perfect place to eat after scuba diving at the dive shop next door. It was a relaxing time to sit outside, enjoy a beer, some fresh seafood, and of course a key lime pie. Their mahi mahi was delicious! The perfect typical Florida Keys seafood restaurant/bar. The service was a bit here and there when we were asking for our checks, but for the most part the staff was good at being attentive, especially with our orders.

“Great Food - Relaxed Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2014

We recently spent a week in Key Largo, and this turned out to be the best food we had. After reading some of the reviews, we were a little hesitant. Unless you have directions to it, it is a bit hard to find, but well worth it. It is very casual and the service is super friendly. You can sit outside on a concrete deck along a canal or you can sit in a screened-in patio area as well as inside. It is not a huge, fancy place and the inside area is more like an old bar, maybe a bit eccentric. Bathrooms are outside. Several small shipwrecks that were washed up in the area are propped up outside. This is what the Keys are all about: a laid back atmosphere. Looked like quite a few locals eat there as well which is always a good sign. The food was excellent. Can't beat the Friday night all-you-can-eat Mahi Mahi with two sides for $12.99. A pitcher of beer was only $7.50. Only wish we would have found out about this place earlier during our vacation and not on our last day. Sure would have eaten there more than once.

“It's a bar, not a restaurant ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2014 via mobile

Very casual and friendly place. We were surprised to find it was more a bar than a restaurant. My husband had Mahi Reuben sandwich and thought it was very good. It was Mahi and coleslaw instead of corned beef and sauerkraut on whole wheat. I had coconut shrimp and coconut onion rings. It was tasty but too much fried food for me.
