Not on the water but is in a marina. The food and service is wonderful, immediately make you feel like you are at your own local bar/restaurant. We brought I our catch from a charter here to be freshly cooked and it was amazing ! Love the true Keys salty dog feel.

We have been in the Keys for a week and are getting ready to leave I wanted to be sure and rate the Shipwreck we had a terrific dinner, get the grilled anything. I had grilled shrimp and my husband had grilled mahi mahi, both were fresh and prepared perfectly. Shock top on tap and key lime pie topped of a great meal. Prices were reasonable and the ambiance was great except for an annoying family from Maryland. Why do I know this they said it no less than 5 times. Not the restaurant's fault of course but the food was really good.

Food is not gourmet food, mostly served fried or in a basket, but it is good. Staff is very friendly, it gets busy on holiday or week ends so be patient as they do not take reservations.
Finally, the Key Lime Pie alone is a good enough reason to go there, you cannot find a better one.
If you have no more room for dessert, take it out and eat it for breakfast the next morning...
It is a must for us each time we visit the Keys...

We go to the Florida keys, it's the last place in Florida where you can have a non touristy experience, but even here a true local place is hard to find. When we arrived at this restaurant and saw the rusty artifacts, derelict boats, marine buoys and the low building moldering into the ground I knew we had found the right place. There was everything from BMW's, junkers & motorbikes parked in the lot and on the street, we were not the first to discover this place. Sat right on the water with a great maritime view looking at people getting ready to go diving and people coming back from from fishing charters. Fingers crossed, hoping the food was as great as the atmosphere we were not disappointed. We settled in eating our way through the appetizer menu which included a variety of fish, meat and vegetable dishes, everything tasted great, friendly service and low prices, what was there not to like!
