We decided at the spur of the moment to drive to Miami Homestead Speedway for the final NASCAR race last month. While my friend thought we were staying at another Marriott in Key Largo (on the Bay) we couldn't have been happier staying at the Courtyard. Everything was top of the line: our suite was perfect with an overstuffed mattress, new and lovely furniture. We had a corner suite that overlooked the bay and marina, as well as a lovely pool and Jacuzzi. The Café in the lobby featured Starbucks drinks, hot breakfast foods and lunches; the staff at the Café offered us Mimosas on Friday morning. There is a 24 hour Marketplace to purchase food stuffs and drinks to eat at the Café or take back to your room; the Holiday Inn next door had a Tiki bar. I was especially impressed with the front desk and Café staff, always helpful with our questions. We will definitely go back to the Courtyard and stay with them again.

We stayed for one night and found the room to be average. It was clean but dated especially the bathroom and the closet door was hanging off the track.

When we checked in I asked not to be placed on ground level, the front desk clerk said there is no ground floor as we are over top of the parking garage. So we had a room on the first level down the hall from the front desk. Late into the evening and then early the next morning there was loud scraping noises, it sounded like furniture scraping against tile. We thought it might be housekeeping which seem to be located below. We had a very poor sleep due to this as well as the beds were very soft.

When we talked to the front desk girl in the morning she said she was sorry and then offered us a breakfast coupon. For the price we paid usually breakfast is included anyways but we appreciated the gesture. There was free internet which was nice.

It was ok but I don't think we will stay there again.

We got here and it was ok. We asked where we could eat and they said next door a at the holiday inn. We should have stayed there... We got back to our hotel and the whirlpool wasn't working and freezing cold! So we went to our room and I wanted to take a bath but then house keeping apparently doesn't clean the bath tub because there was a lot of "tiny" hairs in there, so I passed on that. All in All the pictures look great but this place sucks. Buyer beware.
