My husband and I stayed in an Island View room which had two very comfortable double beds.

The room was a minute walk to the pool and beach, we passed a couple of hammocks on the way and had photos taken before going to sit by the pool which is surrounded by lovely comfy loungers. The pool was very clean and the loungers had just been cleaned.
There's a table seating area where you can sit a bit shaded also near the pool and we spent a few hours just relaxing there.
The breakfast was taken outside by the reception and was the usual free breakfast but very nice and eaten in a lovely setting.
The hotel is right by Snoops bar where you can get a drink and meal while looking out over the beautiful bay, it's an absolutely beautiful setting and the sunset! WOW!

This is NOT the place you want to spend your time or money. $250 for a tiny room about 12' x 12'. There was no parking available, WiFi wouldn't work, noise outside ALL NIGHT, the TV remote wouldn't even work! Called the front desk at 2:30 a.m. to see if there was any security personnel to ask the loud folks outside our door to quiet down or go away and the desk clerk acted like I was out of line to be trying to sleep in the middle of the night. You're probably better off sleeping on the beach.

First off you passed the Hampton if you were heading Southbound turn around and go back to it. Check in took a while. We were told at that time if we lose a towel it's a $25 charge. We get to the room and you can feel the sand on the tile floor and we were on the 2nd floor not near the "beach". Bathroom had a dried yellow pee mark on the toilet seat and the tub had long black hair in it. Then there were the towels, there were only 2 with 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel with no bath mat and all were real thin and ragged. We had a towel from home with us that that was also white but soft thick and had blue strip on it. I mention this because for the 2 days we stayed the only thing house cleaning did was empty 1 trash can, replenished the interesting towels they gave us and took ours. The mini fridge had burn marks on it, the room smelled musty (we actually bought an air freshener and new towels from Walgreens), bed and pillows were horrible and wifi sucked. The deck chair cushions had black mold on the sides of them and the bbq grills looked like the GIs used them when they were training for WWII. The dock had yellow tape cautioning people not to use. The "beach" is basically 2 small jetties that are used for fishing and to dock a boat or jet skis. The only thing this place has going for it is a great sunset.

We booked online after seeing misleading photos! Paid way to much for a wreck. The walkways were filthy!! Our room had a hole in the wall. The toilet seat was broken and I was not about to sit down in the bathtub. Taking a shower was even questionable, it was so dirty and there were bugs in the bathroom! The air conditioner had issues. It kept surging. It sounded like ocean waves and I question how clean the air filter was. I'm allergic to mold spores and I woke up with a stuffed up nose and sore throat. Felt fine as soon as I left the place. The whole place inside and out needed painted and cleaned!! It might have been a nice placed when it was first built, but has not been kept up at all. Nasty! Nasty! We asked to speak to a manager, but there was never one around.

Room Tip: Don't stay here at all. : (

We booked this hotel though booking.com. It was listed on booking.com, Travelocity and Expedia as a 3 star hotel. When we arrived, we were not impressed. Since we prepaid, we tried to make the best of it. However, we only stayed 3.5 hours because we realized it wasn't worth the suffering. We used the pool, which was clean. However, the hotel did not provide pool towels. We were in a king bed room, and they only provided 2 towels. The towels were thin as bed sheets, had holes, and were stained. The light bulbs above the bathroom vanity did not match and the bottom of the vanity was falling apart. The sheets and floor were dirty. It was supposed to have a private beach. However, the only beach was for 2 rocky piers. You could swim in the water, but you would be swimming with the jet skis attached to the piers. The beach was basically a boat ramp. A continental breakfast was provided. We did not see the breakfast since we did not even stay the night. However, the breakfast was served in the office on a table. It did not look like continental breakfasts in other hotels. I would not consider this a 3 star hotel.

It was the worst experience I ever had!!!
The room was dirty and so humid so my kids got sick. We had to leave 2 nights before, the breakfast was horrible. The beach they said they had, I should not really called it a private beach...
The only thing that was ok (except my husband got sick after eating the lobster bites) was the restaurant, but there they asked us to leave at 9.20 pm even before we had finished our beer. They needed to pack up all pillows. After spending $150 in the restaurant we thought we could take it soft and at least drink up our beer, but hardly not.
....it was a real joke!!!

We checked in last Friday after looking at misleading photos on the website that made it look nice. As soon as we checked into the room, we found 4 cockroaches on the floor. The bathroom sink was next to the front door, outside the tiny bathroom. The room was tiny and cramped. They left one towel in the room meant for 4 people. We then took a short walk to check out the rest of the property. Well, the BBQ grills outside were totally rusted out, very nasty looking. Looks like no one ever cleaned them. The pool was tiny and the water was so cloudy . I didn't want to step one foot in it. It looked like a cest pool of bacteria. Out back by the dock, we were greeted by caution tape and stop signs preventing us to go onto the half collapsed fishing dock. Very dangerous situation. The lounge chairs were all broken . Had no backs to hold up the seats and the fabric was all shredded. The "BEACH" was basically a small sandy boat ramp full of jet skis and the water was dark green. Hardly a beach at all. Also didn't want to step one foot in it. We immediately went to the front desk to advise the new girl working it that we were checking out and we wanted our money back. She said, You will have to speak to the owner, who was not there. She put me on the phone and I advised the female owner what the problems were. She told me there would be no refund for the first day.She said she would have to come duplicate the problems before considering any type of refund for the next two nights. She then flat out lied to me saying that everything was new and fixed over the last six months and that she just had exterminators out there and there was no roach problem. She was full of attitude and not helpful one bit. She said no one else had a problem with her place. Well that was a lie too because we met one woman at the front desk that said her room was a dump also and she wanted to leave as well but couldn't because every other place was booked solid. We contacted our credit card company and advised everything that occurred and lucky for us we are getting a refund. We also were able to find another place to stay so we checked out. I wanted to take a shower after leaving this place, it was that nasty.

Room Tip: Yes, book someplace else.
