Just be sure you confirm the lighthouse is open when you go. It's the neatest part of the park. Also the cafe there is great.

Very nice beaches, fishing areas, bike and walking trails. The lighthouse is beautiful! Lots of parking and shady areas as well as serveral pavillions and picnik tables. There are also a couple of restuarants, but we didn't try those. The one day entrance fee is $8.00 per vehicle (additional charges apply if there are lots of people in the car) or $4.00 for a single occupant vehicle. I honestly thought that price was kind of high considering how small the park is and the limited amount of things to do. It was beautiful though!

Beautiful beach, without the crowds that you find in south beach. Wonderful lighthouse with a free tour and a trip to the top. Lots of wildlife, nice park. Enjoyed a picnic on the beach.

It was the best beach that we´ve visited in Miami. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun and the sea without the crazy that is in South Beach this is the best option, it´s very quiet and you have enough place to eat and spend the whole day.

Entrance fee: 8 dollars
If you want to rent an umbrella it costs: 10 dollars.
