It was great walking into an inviting, familiar condo where we made good memories just last year. The condo was once again very clean and bright, with cabinets and closets well stocked with all you need. The pool was just outside your door and the gorgeous beach just a few minutes walk away. Although weather was a little cool and windy early in our stay, the final few days were glorious ... just what we needed after Nor'easters in RI! Returned to some great restaurants including Bar Zin, Espana and happy hour at David's. Our favorite breakfast spot is Bright Mornings on 3rd -- good food and Mimosas/Bloody Marys and really nice people!! We were lucky to have our daughter for a long weekend to share our "home" and beautiful Amelia Island. Left relaxed and content with good memories and plans to return in the future.
Clean, nicely furnished, but the bathroom is too small, and the tub is dated and the handle to turn on the tub water is extremely difficult to turn.
The view is pleasant, but I would have preferred an upper floor to better see the ocean.
It is a good location, but a relatively long drive to Town.
The entrance and outdoor lighting is poor as in the Condo. due to inadequate Fluorescent lighting.
The beach access is excellent, as is the beach itself-very relaxing!
The refrigerator is poorly positioned, and it is extremely difficult to open the freezer door, since it is against the wall.
However, we very much enjoyed our stay, and the Town is very nice, as are the Restaurants and the historical sites and the boat tours.
We were super impressed with our host's condo. Communication before arrival was excellent and welcoming. The condo was very clean, well stocked, nicely decorated, and very cozy and comfortable. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. Thank you!
Perfect location and very well equiped home. So convenient to the pool, the beach and the town. We will surely be back.
Nicely decorated, fully stocked and VERY clean condo in great location! Owner has thought of everything you need to enjoy this attractive condo while adventuring out daily or just relaxing by the pool or walking the nearby beautiful beach. Just a few minutes south is Palmetto Walk shopping and two great restaurants -- Baxter's for steak and Bar Zin for a fun bistro with wonderful food. Historic section of Fernandina Beach is awesome! Centre Street is lined with numerous shops and great restaurants and the many side streets are lined with even more wonderful restaurants, shops and art galleries. Must try Bright Mornings Bistro on 3rd St. near Museum for Mimosas and yummy breakfast with friendly staff! Enjoyed Tapas and cocktails on patio at Espana. A week was not enough to try all the interesting dining experiences available. Loved our 2 hour cruise around Amelia and Cumberland Islands with Amelia Cruises. Will definitely return to a very special place and stay in the same great condo!!
