What a treat, a beautiful day in a wonderful restaurant with a fantastic view of the ocean serving the best food on Amelia Island. The shrimp cocktail was amazing along with the chilled melon soup. We had a 4 yr. old with us and our server Gilleon knew just what she wanted, thank you Gilleon for making this one special day.Family friendly, you bet.

Ordered the Cobb salad and specifically asked for no tomatoes and no cucumbers. The salad was loaded with both. Four of us had lunch with three of us having salads and one having a very small cup of soup. No tea or coke and no alcohol. The bill was $60 dollars. Definitely NOT worth the money. I was so disappointed. The Ritz Carlton was beautiful and the staff was wonderful but the food was not.

We've had a great week here at the Ritz-albeit cold! Most everything has been pricy but worth the cost...until dinner tonight. My southern tomato salad with avocado was just OK, the scallops and grits were fine, but my husbands $39 beef tenderloin was ridiculously small! Ridiculously. Service was only so-so. Also, if you are planning a trip here-and don't want very small kids under your feet at every turn, hallway, pool, hot tub, pool tables, et cetera-do not plan this week before Easter! We are here with our children (14 & 11) and they are even getting irritated!

We had Sunday brunch here and one of our traveling companions is gluten-free. The server was so wonderful and told her they could make just about anything for her her without gluten. The food was terrific and the atmosphere wonderful. Loved it!

We returned here for dinner with guests after having had enjoyable lunches in this oceanfront Ritz Carlton's dining room. The atmosphere is upscale, as you would expect at a Ritz. However, we were not pleased with the food. There was a long wait for the entrees to be served. Upon tasting, four of the five entrees were luke warm and had to be returned to the kitchen to be re-heated. As compensation, we were offered complimentary desserts...this dinner experience was not up to the quality we have come to expect at a Ritz Carlton.
