“Pretty Good... Not Great... But Pretty Good”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

My wife and I recently stayed at the Jupiter Beach Resort for a friend's wedding.

First the Good: I was very impressed by the excellent job they did for my friend! The outside setting for the ceremony, overlooking the beach was just spectacular! The staff was very attentive and on the ball. And for a really new experience (for me anyway...) the food for the reception was Excellent! No rubber chicken and stringy steaks!

Now the Not Great: The size of the room and the quality of the furnishings was 'okay' but I didn't feel that it lived up to the cost of the stay. The room felt rather small (smaller than regular hotels we've stayed at on the highway) and the beds were pretty hard. Likewise, the resort property overall was kind of small. On the other hand, I will say that the entire property was Spotless! The staff did an excellent job of maintaining the room and public areas

We've never stayed in this part of Florida before, so this may be typical of resorts in this area. Overall, I'd call it, 'kinda small but otherwise very nice'.

Room Tip: Be cautious about your room selection. Some 'ocean view' rooms are actually partial view whi...

My husband and I stayed at this resort from Feb. 23rd - March 2nd. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend it. The staff was excellent and was always pleasant and accommodating. We initially had a room with 2 double beds which was a little tight (even for the 2 of us) - so they changed us to a room with a king sized bed which was much better. We had breakfast at the hotel which was included and was always good. The town of Jupiter is very nice too. Lots to see, shopping, good location (central) - not far from other cities to visit on the east coast. You just had to get used to all the driving lanes and the bridges which go up quite often for boats travelling the intercoastal.

The only thing negative I can say was that the weather wasn't great - which wasn't the hotel's fault. We'll just have to go back again in the future and hope for better weather.

Room Tip: I wouldn't recommend a room with 2 double beds especially if you have kids.

Living locally, we did not "stay" at the Jupiter Beach Reort, but for the past 7 years we always make reservations for the BALLROOM BUFFET for the hoildays, The food and the service is superb! Wish we had known about this sooner, we will continue to make this our holiday tradition for many years to come! Total elegance and exceptionally delicious cuisine!

So many little extras in this hotel made it well worth spending a little extra money vs. staying at the standard chain hotels. The rooms were beautifully decorated spacious and spotless. The Keurig machine was great for in room tea and coffee at any time of day. Room service was fast and the food stayed hot. Warm cookies and fresh fruit were set out every day in the lobby as an afternoon snack.
I originally booked via Expedia and quickly found out by booking through the resort directly they threw in a few extras such as free breakfast or baseball items during spring training. Staff was very informative and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that's looking for a great place to stay right on the beach.

Stayed at jupiter beach with two young children. The hotel was lovely but we felt was more suited to business travellers/ couples than young families on vacation, the pool area was nice and the rooms were comfortable. We were a little annoyed by the resort fee of $25 a day in my opinion this should be included in the room price. The restaurant served good fish dishes.

The room was very nice and clean, with a narrow oceanfront balcony. Comfy king bed with lots of pillows. Nice flat screen TV and Keurig coffee maker. Large shower w/ Tommy Bahama soaps and lotions. The day we arrived it was overcast and the pool area was quiet, and we thought "this place is dead". But the next day was nice and sunny and the pool area was hopping with people and bikinis. The lounge chair cushions were tired and need replacing or cleaning. Had a good lunch at the restaurant (try the cheese tray while lounging by the pool - delicious). We didn't get a newspaper each morning as promised, but otherwise the service was pretty good. The resort is in a convenient location, close to many restaurants. We thought the beach was outstanding - beautiful sand with some really cool rock formations along the shoreline, not very developed, shells everywhere, and you can walk forever.

Once again this hotel did not deliver. I was invited to breakfast. We decided to have the buffet. There were multiple selections of bland pastries (cold). Two offerings of egg/cheese and not sure what else on a bun and/or croissant. (both cold). There were three chafing dishes, one with scramble eggs (cold and 3/4 empty), bacon (cold) and sausages still grey in appearance (cold). Wedges of red skin potatoe (tasteless and cold). Toast, well that is another story. Toasters did not work, I wanted a croissant, nowhere to warm, waitress said I can cut it in half and put it in toaster which didn't work. Wanted a refill of OJ (displayed near buffet). Was told it was not part of the buffet. Our plates were not cleared off our table. Had to ask a lady to find out waitress to get the bill. I wander what they would do if they were busy!
