I have a long tragic story. First off the trip is a four hour trip and the hours are 8 a.m. to noon. The captain arrived at the boat at about 7:50 and began getting ready. We were about to leave out at a little after 8 a.m. when the captain tells us an additional person is going on a trip we paid to be a private charter. The captain had another boat that had left minutes with one passenger but for some reason still wanted to put the additional guy on our private boat. After about 10 minutes of arguing we decided to let the uninvited passenger to go due to all we wanted to do is fish and have fun. The captain asked what we wanted to catch and everyone onboard agreed king and dolphin which the captain stated we were going to catch so many of them we were going to be sore. Once we left the dock we began our journey excited about the fishing trip when we pulled into another dock to fuel up. This took about 30 minutes. It is now almost 9 a.m. Once again we head out to began our trip and reach the ocean it is about 9:30 a.m. after a 30 minute ride to the first fishing hole it is nearly 10 a.m. Once we finally began fishing all we would catch is bonita(a trash fish) so the captain moves to another location after we only fished for about 20 minutes. We get to the next spot at about 10:45 and we fish for about 15 minutes catching remora and bonita fish both of which are trash fish. At about 11:00 a.m. the captain decides to move to a location he claimed he had been catching king fish. We fished the location for about 20 minutes with negative results and at this time everyone on the boat gave up on fishing and sit down ready to head back in. If you want to catch fish I urge you to seek another charter.
