The Food Shack in Jupiter is hidden in the back of a shopping center off US 1, but it is truly worth finding. We arrived at this restaurant around 5:00 pm after spending the day on Peanut Island. There were nine in our party: Grandchildren, daughter and Gwen and I. The restaurant is small and does not take reservations; the maitre d' said we would have to wait about 45 minutes. Gwen and I and the oldest granddaughter, Senior at Peace College, walked next door to the adjoining bar and ordered a bottle of Esperto Pinot Grigio from France’s Burgundy region. BTW, the wine list was excellent. Since our party was so large, we had to wait a little longer than 45 minutes; we soon found out it was surely worth it. The food was excellent: Wahoo, shrimp, scallops, sweet and spicy fish and chicken fingers, grilled cheese, Romaine Salad, Oyster Salad and Creme Brulee Chzcake. The service and decor was also excellent. This is a number one superb restaurant; we'll be back!!!
