It's great to see these animals get the care they deserve. Fun for the family. Beware of the heat when you go in the summer, but it's still fun for a morning trip. Try to make the show!

What a great place to spend an afternoon with the family or on a date. All the animals have been rescued or are being rehabilitated to go back into the wild. They operate on donations and through volunteers and manage to maintain a beautiful facility. You can get right up close to the Florida Panther and watch them teaching the large predator birds how to fly again. It's a cool place to go and just wander around for an hour or so, and don't forget to put some $ in the donation box.

This is a great place to visit if you are in the Palm Beach Area. Not only will you see native Florida wildlife, you will see a group of people executing a noble mission; saving wildlife that can't take care of itself. Eagles, Florida Panther, bobcat, falcons, owls to name a few. This is not a tourist destination. It is a nice walk in shaded by native vegetation in a natural environment.
There isn't an admission fee. You'd be hard pressed not to leave a donation after you see and realize the great work being done there.

Many animals of the local area here. Located nicely in the woods, so it's never too hot and you can see some wildlife. Don't forget to check out the bear exhibit.
Admission is free but you should make a donation. Some of the animals need bigger/better exhibits (they're building a new one for the panthers right now).

We visited the wildlife sanctuary and really enjoyed it. We saw so many animals that you rarely have the privilege to see. All of the animals appear to be well cared for, and you can see that the staff and volunteers genuinely care about what they are doing. Perhaps one of the neatest things is that you can actually feel how content these animals all are. You can tell that they are well loved and fed, and they seem happy to be there. We saw everything from black bears to owls to otters to panthers and so many more. There are plenty of places to sit if you become tired, and the bathrooms are clean. Also there is a nice gift shop. If you have an opportunity to visit you really should, and be sure to make a donation to support the important work being done at the sanctuary.
