Many animals of the local area here. Located nicely in the woods, so it's never too hot and you can see some wildlife. Don't forget to check out the bear exhibit.
Admission is free but you should make a donation. Some of the animals need bigger/better exhibits (they're building a new one for the panthers right now).

We visited the wildlife sanctuary and really enjoyed it. We saw so many animals that you rarely have the privilege to see. All of the animals appear to be well cared for, and you can see that the staff and volunteers genuinely care about what they are doing. Perhaps one of the neatest things is that you can actually feel how content these animals all are. You can tell that they are well loved and fed, and they seem happy to be there. We saw everything from black bears to owls to otters to panthers and so many more. There are plenty of places to sit if you become tired, and the bathrooms are clean. Also there is a nice gift shop. If you have an opportunity to visit you really should, and be sure to make a donation to support the important work being done at the sanctuary.

Really great sanctuary with great boardwalk over swampy area full of birds, turtles etc. Animal hospital in area too. Also a great place to see real Florida panthers and some bears. Admission free, but please make a donation at the gate, as this kind of work is so important to future generations.

Trying to organize a family outing with ages 4-92 is not easy but the santuary fit the bill. My daughter loved being able to get up close to the animals and I was happy that it was wheelchair accessible for my grandmother. I love that they are caring for injured animals and providing an education to the public. They do animals talks but we were not there at the right time. Will definitely visit again next year.

took family there last week. had expected a few birds, turkeys and perhaps a gator or two. was very surprised at the great variety of animals including two bears and also florida panthers. also there is no admission charge but you can make a donation. the folks there deserve our support as they care for injured animals. this is right in jupiter and very easy to get to. we could not stay but they have special activities everyday including animal feedings and lectures.
we will go back in the near future.
