I was a little surprised, but heartened, to see the restaurant was nearly full on a recent Friday in slow season. Our party of six were seated at a comfortable round table and our waitress, Ginny, was right there getting us started with drinks, bread, etc. I was also surprised to see that the large bar was packed with people enjoying a drink and many were also dinning. The wine list had a number of reasonably priced offerings, as did the list of the evening's specials. Our meals were all enjoyed... a steamed lobster, two Bronzino fish dishes...I had the Hog Snapper, my wife had the pollo di franco, and lastly a spinach lasagna.
There is a happy vibe here, with an older demographic, in this well decorated restaurant. Our bill came to $96 a couple, pre-tip. Not bad for this level of quality, in this part of south Florida.
