“Great climb!”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

The lighthouse & museum were fascinating & the interpreters were well informed & delightful. Many great items in the museum docummenting life in Florida in the past & associated with living in the lighthouse. The lighthouse climb was well worth it with the stunning view at the top.

“A Jupiter Landmark Not To Be Missed”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

You must visit the lighthouse when in Jupiter. The setting is beautiful. The guided tour is worthwhile, but you must be reasonably fit. The lighthouse itself is a short walk uphill from the gift shop/museum, then the climb to the top is just over 100 stairs. The view from the top is spectacular. In fact, our first visit to the top influenced us to move to Jupiter. The tour is informative and includes admission to the museum. History buffs will enjoy the significance of the lighthouse. There are ramps to the gift shop and museum, but those with disabilities may not be able to tour the lighthouse.

“Beautiful lighthouse, interesting history, not ADA friendly”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

We visited the Jupiter Lighthouse to pick up another picture to add to my wife's lighthouse collection. I would have gone on a tour but the facility is not that friendly to persons with disabilities. Of course it would be impossible to provide access to the top of the lighthouse, but the ticket area is several hundred yards from the lighthouse and there appears to be no way to visit it without a strenuous walk.

“Well worth the visit!!”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

We had a wonderful, informative visit to the Jupiter Lighthouse!! The guided tour, which is required if you want to visit, was very educational. They give you more than just the story of the lighthouse, they tell you all of the history leading up to the building of the structure. Very interesting about the Seminole Indians, WW II, etc. There is a climb to the top, which is 105 steps. Wear a visor, as some of the walk is in the sun.

“A real rtreasure of Jupiter”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

We have visited the lighthouse and museum a number of times since we have lived in Jupiter. Never had a bad visit. Docents are wonderful people who volunteer their time to give very educational tours of the ground and the lighthouse. The museum is wonderful and our friends and family love visiting. Well worth the visit.
