No visit is complete to the North County area unless you include a stop at the Lighthouse Museum. Learn about the rich history of our area and then take the circular walk inside the lighthouse to the observation deck up top. The panoramic scenery stretches for miles in all directions so be sure not to forget your camera! After that hike, a dinner across the inlet at Jettys or Bubba Gumps would be guiltless or grab a drink and listen to some live music at the Square Grouper!!

There was a full moon which lent for some awesome picture taking at night. There are tours to the Lighthouse that can be taken.
If you go onto of the bridge nearby sometimes around 9am-10am you sometmes will be able to see manatees swimming by.

Can't even get to the lighthouse without paying for the museum and tour. No thanks. I just like to take picture of the lighthouses and stretch my legs. Tours cost $9 a person I believe, but it was late in the day and my group didn't feel like shelling out the cash. Looks pretty cool from the distance though.

quaint lighthouse and museum with history of the lighthouse, inet and general area- nice to do if you are in the vicinity and want to learn more than just going to the beach or playing golf, etc.
