We took a late afternoon tour of the lighthouse which included a museum tour. Tour guides are young but appreciate their enthusiasm and showed an interest in what they were doing. The tour guide did not rush us and let us stay as long as we wanted on the top of the light house. Everyone else left and he told them to wait under the big tree at the bottom of the light house. Nice experience. Do not miss the museum. It is very well done and the film about 20 minutes in length is very infomative. If you are a historical museum buff, good place to spend a few hours.
In june and july, they offer moonlight tours and sunset tours. We were there in August so we missed them.
There is wheelchair access for museum and gift shop. A wheelchair can be pushed up the hill to the bottom of the lighthouse on a brick walk.
