Description: Sonny's BBQ offers a variety of barbeque meats, including St. Louis Cut Ribs and Sonny's Signature Baby Backs, Pulled Beef Brisket, Pulled and Sliced Pork, Sliced Turkey, and Chicken, all smoked slowly over a hardwood fire. Today, with 126 restaurants in nine southeastern states, Sonny's BBQ is one of the largest, most popular barbeque chains in the country. Our secret? We cook it up slow and serve it up fast and friendly.

Sonny's use to be the place to go for BBQ. Turned into a chain so lost some of it's personality. I like the smaller places that are trying to make it and add that tender loving care rather than just rushing things out. They have a nice salad bar but it costs too much to add to an order. Hardly see anyone using it. I'll go back some day but will seek out the unique first.

We were not familiar with Sonnys as they have no locations in our neck of the woods. It's casual with a large salad bar offered. We opted for the BBQ. He had the turkey I had the pork. Both were great, portions large, quite a few different options to choose from for sides (beans, cornbread, garlic bread, corn on the cob, coleslaw, fries, baked sweet potato, & others). They drinks were HUGE, so we never had to bother with refills. On the table are 4 different flavors of BBQ sauce so you can customize your meal. They offer dessert but neither of us could fit it in. Price was very reasonable, he was very happy. We would go again for sure.
Right on the maindrag.

Put quite simply, Sonny's BBQ Rocks!! There a few restaurants we always return to whenever we're in the Jupiter/West Palm Beach area, and this is definitely one of them. Their menu selection is very good....I usually get the turkey (yum!) with baked potato, BBQ beans & corn on the cob. They have many choices of BBQ sauces available to satisfy everyone's taste buds. And speaking of 'buds', they always have plenty of cold beer (quite nice on a hot day) available.

And if you're like us, and can't get Sonny's BBQ at home, you can usually purchase some of their awesome sauce to take home w/you.

This particular restaurant is in a nice location and very easy to get to.

This is one of a chain of BBQ places in the south. It serves large portions of very good BBQ-ribs, chicken, pork, etc. in a very casual atmosphere. Some nights there are all you can eat specials. The ribs for 2 at less than $20 is made up of a large order of ribs, and 3 sides per person--a great bargain!

I just attended a wedding at the Jupiter Civic Center on Saturday. The wedding feast was catered by Sonny's and the food was very nice. I'm a fan of Carolina's Bar B Q, and Sonny's is sauced very differently but it's tasty, mild and well cooked. There's more smoky flavor in their pulled pork than is my preference, so I suspect they add liquid flavoring to enhance it. They did pulled pork, smoked roasted chicken, smoked deli-style turkey, beans, slaw, salad, cornbread and marinated tortellini salad. Service and quality are both good for such large groups. They even had huge hunks of tofu for the non-meat eating guests.
