I used to come here with my grandparents in the '80s. Back then it was known as the "Outrigger" and was owned by Hollywood songstress Frances Langford. I was very happy when it was re-opened as the Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House.

The food and service is always good. My husband, a chef, can't stop raving about their prime rib. They have a wonderful salad bar, something you don't see very often anymore.

We took my parents on Easter Sunday and had a wonderful meal, then returned later in the week to enjoy live music during "ladies night" in the lounge. The lounge is right on the water, it actually feels like you are in a boat. If you like bars (I'm a "bar person") this is a great quaint and friendly place.

If I lived in Jensen Beach I'm pretty sure I'd be a "regular".

The only thing that would make it better is if they restored the original bungalows out front, where Jackie Gleason and other celebrities once stayed. I would love to stay there, only steps from the Dolphin Bar!!!

What a wonderful surprise. Lovely location right on the water with a view of the bay. They have a really neat bar. Half price apps at happy hour and huge servings. There is a small boardwalk right outside where you can feed the fish that gather at the pier. If you are lucky you will see manatees. They have a choice of eating in the open under a covered deck or inside. We did notice a huge fireplace which would be really nice on a cool day. Huge selection of seafood dishes however ample enough choices if seafood is not your choice. Great service and prices a little princely but overall a great evening out.

The Dolphin Bar is a large, busy restaurant and bar in Jensen Beach, FL. It was once owned by Frances Langford - and has a lot of memorabilia.
The food and service are very good - with views of the water.

Great location and menu and food, but pricey. Property has tons of history going back to the 30's. Wednesdays are Ladies Night with a Sax player. Not necessarily a "Must go", but if you get a nice table, you won't be disappointed.

We arr'd just in time to get one of the last tables available in the bar. The beer was very cold, the wings came out quickly & hot. These wings were not the usual greasy, sloppy wings, but rather they came out dry along with a bowl of buffalo sauce on the side. I like that...no mess whatsoever!
If you get there earlier enough you might get a table by the water to watch the sea life.
